About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.

About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!
“Lacie is a Super Sitter! She watched our Dude(kitty) for a week and she went so far above and beyond. She took our trash out to the curb on trash day when she noticed our neighbors setting their containers out. She kept the kitty litter area clean and my utility room vacuumed. She also vacuumed the kitchen. She took care of my plants. All of these things on top of the most excellent care of Dude. She was in contact with me anytime she had a question. Kim, however, was a complete professional and was able to get my dog outside for the bathroom and back inside, understanding my dog’s needs. Can I give 10 stars?! Celia is helping with our frenchie puppy, Tito, who is still recovering from a broken elbow and she's been a life saver. He needs some extra attention and Celia is amazing with him. Not only does she hang out with him, she also works with him a little bit with training.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
