“Kristen is wonderful!! Communicates clearly, quick to respond, dependable. She doesn't just take our puppy outside to potty, but instead goes the extra mile to play with him so he can get energy out while we're at work. I can't say enough positive things about her-- she's great!”

About: Thank you for helping fund my college education!! About my Pet Care Experience: I am an experienced foster for many types of pets, ranging from week-old bottle-babies to elderly large dogs and different cats. Routine is important! I have learned to provide specific schedules for all types of fur babies depending on their needs. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's in nursing, so I am booked Mondays all day and Wednesday mornings. I make lots of tie for pets, as I recognize the value in enrichment. I run in the mornings, so let me know if your dog/dogs would like to join me as well! Water is always fresh and available, food is provided on a schedule unless otherwise noted. My apartment is not huge but there's nothing dangerous for pets. I pick up any smal items and plants when pets are home.
About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.

Failure of communications prevents other fur parents to reach out to me regarding care for their fur babies for those dates. I have spent 17 years taking care of all kinds of doggies and kitties. I will only sit in your fur babies home where they are in their element and feel most comfortable. This also means that you get a house sitter caring for your home as well. “I highly recommend Ana! I’m new to the area and needed someone I could trust to care for my shy cat, Littles, while I was out of state for nine days. He was still adjusting to our recent move and had been stressed by water intrusion issues and all the maintenance visits that followed. Ana was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and set up a meet-and-greet right away. Littles spent most of that first visit hiding behind the couch, but she was patient and determined to win him over. She sent daily photos and updates, and even checked my apartment for water leaks during heavy rain, which gave me so much peace of mind. Within a few days, Littles was curled up in Ana’s lap enjoying all the pets. When I got home, he was relaxed, eating well, and clearly had been well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking Ana again for my September trip and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, dependable pet sitter.”

About: I have owned pets for over 8 years; both dogs and cats. I have little experience with dogs under 1 year old, but I am responsible and diligent so I believe that I can handle dogs under 1 if I am given the chance. I have dog sit for a couple that had 4 dogs, and they were all over 50 pounds, so I am good at handling multiple dogs. I have never been hired to take care of a cat, but I have lived with cats for over 10 years, so I know how to take care of them. I love both dogs and cats, and I am excited to meet your four-legged friends! I currently do not have a job due to the fact that I am in school. I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 2 pm, so any scheduling would have to work around that. I am available all day on any other day to dog walk, pet sit during the day, or overnight. I am very attentive when it comes to taking care of anyone's pets, and I treat them as if they were my own. I love to play with cats or dogs indoor or outdoor. I will keep a very close eye on them whether I am staying overnight, or just dog walking.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old in order to save up for a dog of my own. I love walking and playing with dogs. I'm not afraid to get dirty on the ground rolling around with your dog. I grew up being a dog person and caring for all the dogs in my neighborhood. I was a very loving and caring owner of my dog until he passed recently. It's not just a job to me, it's time well spent. I think it is important to spend quality time with our pets. I won't just feed your dog, let them out and then leave. I will spend time walking and making sure your dog feels loved while you are gone. I schedule my week around what animal care jobs I have. I am currently in college for nursing and all of my classes are fully online and self-paced so I have a lot of freedom to move my week around for the animals needs. I will pour as much time and care into your pets as needed depended on your schedule. I would never leave my dog in the care of a business looking after many dogs at once, I would want him to get the attention and care he deserves. With me, they will get one-one-one attention. Therefore, when I care for your animals, I think of how I'd want someone to care and love mine.

Jennifer did a wonderful job looking after Madeleine the kitty. I know that she was happy and felt very secure with Jennifer because of the wonderful pictures she sent. Madeleine has a dog sister who she adores and I'm sure she missed very much when we were gone. Jennifer made her feel comfortable and not so lonely. I highly recommend her and you will never go wrong with Jennifer B. as your sitter.
Misty is professional and you can tell she loves taking care of animals and treats them like they’re her own. She took care of our little chihuahua while we went away for a trip and she checked on him on the times we requested. Played with our little guy and let him burn his energy. She respected our home and she sent several pics with every visit! My kids loved seeing those pictures. I would definitely book Misty again! She was fantastic. ⭐️

Mara provided exceptional care for our 2 dogs and keep us updated with pictures and pertinent details! She also was able to assist us with short notice. We highly recommend Mara and will definitely look into booking her again. Thanks Mara and have a great day! 😁

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
