I have a hybrid schedule that allows me to work from home if necessary and I’m usually able to go into the office only when required. This allows me to work around the pets schedule and spend more time with anxious pups!

When I am in a client's home I make sure to follow the rules and guidelines laid out to the best of my ability. I always try and leave the home better than I found it and reach out with any questions. If a pet is allowed on the bed I also don't mind them sleeping with me!

I love to go on walks/runs with my foster dogs at various parks or in the neighborhood, depending on how they are around other dogs. With puppies I have fostered I mainly play fetch and tug of war in the backyard when they are not napping. Many clients also use enrichment toys that I can give to the pets to keep them stimulated while I am working.

I started as a foster parent and volunteer where I found a passion for helping dogs and cats get adopted. I know how important it is to give them attention and love at all times to bring out their best personalities! Sometimes dogs need more than one meeting to get their true selves to shine, so I make sure to be patient and learn about them the best I can. I have been fortunate to work with a variety of dogs with many different types of personalities, including some with reactivity issues. I make sure to listen and provide the best care I can for those pets that require a little more understanding! I also helped my previous foster dogs with many things including their daily medications, reactivity issues, and dealing with any allergic reactions.

There is no one I'd rather have house sit or drop in to care for our pom than Denisse. When another sitter had to cancel for an extended stay Denisse worked wonders to accommodate her schedule to include dropin visits in addition to her already booked house sit for us for 10 days. Her Rover cards were the most detailed and provided great comfort. My plants even looked better than when I left them even with all the heat! Denisse has become our pom"s guardian angel.
Denisse has been wonderful with our dog Banks. She did a thorough meet-and-greet ahead of time and took the time to get to know him before her first solo walk, which meant a lot to us. Banks can get very excited when someone arrives, and Denisse was patient and calm with him from the start. She was amazing at walking him with his gentle leader and using clicker training — she clearly knows what she’s doing and stayed consistent with how we work with him. She also went above and beyond with updates after every walk, including photos, and it was so clear he was in great hands. On top of all that, she was incredibly flexible with timing during a stretch of brutal heat and coordinated smoothly with the family member staying at our house. We felt completely comfortable leaving Banks in her care and would book her again in a heartbeat!
Very, very pleased with our experience hiring Denisse! She cared for our two dogs and stayed over in our home all week while we vacationed. We received pictures and updates daily letting us know that everyone was happy and safe. Our veggies garden did not suffer because Denisse made sure to water when it was needed. Yay!! I very much hope to be able to book again with Denisse in the future.
Denisse took great care of our two dogs on short notice. Great communication and the dogs were happy when we got home. Would definitely recommend her.
