I love dogs, cats and all animals!
I am a stay-at-home mom of two kids, ages 7 & 9. I am originally from Massachusetts and have lived in Hendersonville for 9 years and love it here! I love to be outside, hiking and kayaking. I am not a certified trainer, but I am very interested in training and I'd be happy to practice or teach basic behaviors. I’ve taken several training classes with my current and past Australian shepherds, including agility training. I am happy to help with grooming including brushing, bathing and nail trimming. I am flexible and happy to accommodate most special needs or requests!!

Safety, trust & environment
As for safety at your home, I will always keep your dog on a leash or in a fenced in area. I always feed dogs separately and I won’t be bringing my children with me generally, but if I ever needed to I would check with you first.

Jennifer did a great job this time taking care of Madeleine the kitten and also Caly, the dog. She had to walk Caly this time and she sent photos and notes. I will definitely be using her again as she follows all directions and seems to love all animals. What a jewel!!!!
Jennifer did a wonderful job taking care of Madeleine, the bouncing kitty with the picky eating habits. She kept me informed of how Madeleine was doing with her eating and spent time playing with her and giving her attention. It was so nice to have a sitter that was informative and caring and followed directions perfectly. You can't go wrong with Jennifer and I hope to use her often.
She was wonderful and the cats loved her, She was very timely and updated us at each visit. Cant imagine anything more. Steve and Nancy
We were gone for a week and needed someone to spend some time with our cats and make sure they were fed, happy, and healthy. Jennifer did a great job and we plan on using her again next time we're out of town.
Jennifer was wonderful with our two dogs. She was polite, communicated well, and was punctual.
Our two cats love the attention and care Jennifer has provided numerous times when we’ve been away on trips. She has been flexible with dates and times and has even watered our plants! It’s always nice to come home and see that the cats are in good spirits and the house is taken care of too.

Schedule
As a stay at home mom I have a flexible schedule and love visiting doggy friends and taking them for walks. I am available during school hours (8-2:30 on weekdays) for walks in our area (off of 64 between Laurel Park and Horseshoe). I love to get outside and exercise and I have all the right gear for inclement weather, so rain and snow are never a problem! I may be petite, but I have no problem managing large or unruly dogs! I love visiting kitties too.

- Before sitting a dog I like to know if they are possessive or protective over food, people, toys etc. I like to know if there are any particular routines that will make your dog feel more comfortable. I also like to know about any allergies or special diets. For walking, it is helpful to know how your dog does on a leash and if there are any stimuli that excite your dog (squirrels, other dogs, bikes, etc) - this is no problem, I just like to be prepared for this. I also like to know if you have any recommended walking routes.
