I am always cautious around open doors. Having a cat that loves to sneak out the front door I would never want that to happen with your pet. I make sure all dogs are leashed and secured before opening the door for walks and ensure gates are closed before letting them out in the yard.

I prefer to meet and greet with your pet to establish a positive relationship. I always want to be associated with positive experiences and have your pet enjoy seeing me when I come by. For drop ins I like to know what treats are allowed, and their favorite toy or other things they enjoy. For walks I like to know what may trigger your pet or certain things (children, other dogs, certain areas, ect.) to avoid on walks.
A typical day
Dog walks around your neighborhood if possible. Giving approved treats, playing with toys, and keeping your pets entertained are some of the activities I love to do!

Pet care experience
I've always had pets growing up and always loved both cats and dogs. I've been a Veterinary Technician for 6 years and am working on getting my degree as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I am comfortable with a variety of pets anywhere from Pomeranians to Great Danes. I have elderly pets as well as a new kitten so I am comfortable with both taking it slow and giving enrichment. I personally own an escape artist cat and dog with very little recall off leash, so I take extra precautions to ensure the pets I care for are safe and secure. I have dealt with reactive, and dog aggressive dogs so I understand how to ensure these dogs have a positive and comfortable experience on walks.
