About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.

She took care of our little chihuahua while we went away for a trip and she checked on him on the times we requested. Played with our little guy and let him burn his energy. Within two days she she was totally OK with being around Jennie! Jennie has also been so kind to her and mindful, for instance, it was really hot today so she kept her in the grass instead of the pavement. She sits with her even when she’s done with the walk. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for at least 15 years, being my own, family/friends, and others. Experienced with small to large breeds dogs with elder care experience including walking/standing restrictions, special diet needs, and medication distribution. I'm currently studying online courses and can be available most hours and days for pet care with little restrictions. My schedule is very flexible at the moment. I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect, treating them as if they were my own. My main goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine to minimize anxiety while you are away. I strictly follow all feeding, medication, and exercise guidelines, and I provide photo updates after each visit for your total peace of mind.

About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

Kristen is wonderful!! Communicates clearly, quick to respond, dependable. She doesn't just take our puppy outside to potty, but instead goes the extra mile to play with him so he can get energy out while we're at work. I can't say enough positive things about her-- she's great!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
