About: I’ve been animal-obsessed for as long as I can remember 🐾💕 I’ve worked with animals most of my life and currently work at a veterinary clinic in Brevard, so I have tons of hands-on experience with all kinds of pet needs. About: My girls and I are genuine pet lovers - I have enjoyed animals all my life, always having dogs and working as an animal control officer for a police department for four years before staying home with my kids. My middle school aged girls spend much of their time playing with our dogs and cat, visiting the neighboring farm animals, learning about animals, and seeking opportunities to interact with animals of varying kinds. We are a homeschooling family with a flexible schedule; we are reliable, on-time, and have a strong work ethic. We enjoy the opportunity to love on pets and spend quality time with them when their owners are away. We successfully boarded dogs in our home in Arizona through Rover for two years. We have experience caring for dogs, walking them and providing for their needs. We also fostered puppies for a year and worked with them through potty training and basic obedience. We love puppies! We are kind and compassionate and desire to make each pet comfortable and happy. We can provide care to senior animals who need gentler love and attention as well as dogs of all sizes. As a homeschooling family we have a flexible schedule that allows us to check on animals at various times during the day. We can make mornings, afternoons or evenings work depending on your pet’s needs. When we drop in to check on your pet(s) we will carefully follow all directions provided to give them the best care possible. We will provide love and attention, set out food and replenish water, administer any medications, check to make sure they are well and happy and that nothing looks awry with their environment. About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!
About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. I’m hoping to save up and earn as much money as I can to help host our dream wedding here in the mountains next year! We both love our babies and I would be happy to give your fur babies that same love and support ☺️ UPDATE: Sadly I can no longer provide overnight sittings. I AM available to do a sitting that does not require me to stay at your home overnight. I understand if this prevents you from hiring me for a sitting. I currently work remote full-time but do have some flexibility in my schedule to fit in drop-ins and walks. Wednesdays are usually when I have the most calls, but of course can try and work around my and your schedule. I’m happy to come to your home to give you that reassurance that your fur baby is doing okay while you’re away. As I said, I work fully remote so my pets pretty much have constant care unless I’m traveling for work. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.

Banks can get very excited when someone arrives, and Denisse was patient and calm with him from the start. She was amazing at walking him with his gentle leader and using clicker training — she clearly knows what she’s doing and stayed consistent with how we work with him. She also went above and beyond with updates after every walk, including photos, and it was so clear he was in great hands. On top of all that, she was incredibly flexible with timing during a stretch of brutal heat and coordinated smoothly with the family member staying at our house. We felt completely comfortable leaving Banks in her care and would book her again in a heartbeat!
Kira made two visits to take care of one kitten, Madeleine and one dog, Caly. She was punctual for her visits and followed directions perfectly. Caly seemed very happy when I returned because of her walk and Madeleine was her usual Kitten self. I will definitely use Kira again and she seems to be an excellent addition to Rover.
Kayla was wonderful! I’d never left my girl home alone while I was on an overnight trip but Kayla took all that anxiety away. She was so communicative and even shared pictures/report cards for each walk. She was even sweet enough to sit with Winter for a while so that she could get more comfortable with her. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
