About: My girls and I are genuine pet lovers - I have enjoyed animals all my life, always having dogs and working as an animal control officer for a police department for four years before staying home with my kids. My middle school aged girls spend much of their time playing with our dogs and cat, visiting the neighboring farm animals, learning about animals, and seeking opportunities to interact with animals of varying kinds. We have experience caring for dogs, walking them and providing for their needs. We also fostered puppies for a year and worked with them through potty training and basic obedience. We love puppies! About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. We are also an active family and go on hikes at least twice a week. We can fit in more hikes if need be...we love nature! Dogs will be leashed when they are outside with the exception of our fenced in yard. I have an available crate and dog gates and can accommodate your dog's needs if you wish for them to be kept separate from pets or if that's simply the way you've trained them at home.
