About: My girls and I are genuine pet lovers - I have enjoyed animals all my life, always having dogs and working as an animal control officer for a police department for four years before staying home with my kids. My middle school aged girls spend much of their time playing with our dogs and cat, visiting the neighboring farm animals, learning about animals, and seeking opportunities to interact with animals of varying kinds. We are a homeschooling family with a flexible schedule; we are reliable, on-time, and have a strong work ethic. We enjoy the opportunity to love on pets and spend quality time with them when their owners are away. We successfully boarded dogs in our home in Arizona through Rover for two years. We have experience caring for dogs, walking them and providing for their needs. We also fostered puppies for a year and worked with them through potty training and basic obedience. We love puppies! As a homeschooling family we have a flexible schedule that allows us to check on animals at various times during the day. We can make mornings, afternoons or evenings work depending on your pet’s needs. When we drop in to check on your pet(s) we will carefully follow all directions provided to give them the best care possible. We will provide love and attention, set out food and replenish water, administer any medications, check to make sure they are well and happy and that nothing looks awry with their environment. We enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them inside the house or in the yard. We clean litter boxes and provide any other care needed for each animal. We offer basic dog grooming in the clients home for an additional fee.
