About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.

I could not have asked for a better human to watch my pup! I have her on repeat for drop ins 3x every week while I’m at work and will continue to do so!”

About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Trust is a significant factor when it comes to putting your animals in someone else's care, it's important to follow any instruction that you leave me for your pet while always keeping you updated and taking your pets safety first and foremost. All of my clients and animals are treated as I would expect my animals and myself to be treated. They become my family when I care for them. I am also very knowledgeable about toxic materials including plants, food, etc. For birds, dogs and cats. I am cautious and constantly aware of my surroundings. I prefer to be preventative when it comes to animal care.

On weekends, I generally have open availability, which allows me to provide more extended visits, extra walks, or more time for pets who need additional attention. Since I already care for my own cat daily, pet care is not something I “fit in”—it’s already part of how I live. I’m used to being consistent, attentive, and responsible with feeding schedules, litter box care, exercise, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress-free by closely following all instructions for feeding, walks, litter box care, medication, and any special needs. For dogs, I provide walks and exercise based on their energy level, whether that’s relaxed neighborhood strolls or longer outings on nearby trails. I prioritize safety, attention, and positive interaction. For cats, I take a calm, patient approach and adjust to their personality—some want play and attention, while others prefer quiet space. I always ensure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and a comfortable environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being and communicate regularly with updates and photos so owners feel confident and at ease while away. My goal is to care for every pet as thoughtfully as I would my own.
