We did have a family member housesitting for us, but they were gone most of the day for work so we had Lacie stop by to check on them and let them out every other day. She went above and beyond! She showed up on days we couldn't originally afford or schedule, just because she truly cares. She also helped with cleaning up the dog area and other little things that we didn't ask for. About: I've had all different kinds of pets throughout my life (cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks) - and have lived on homesteads with farm animals too. Prior to making a home in beautiful Brevard, I was full time house and pet sitting for 1.5 years while traveling. I completed about 30 assignments with glowing off the charts 5 star reviews. House/pet sitting is one of the the most special things I've ever done. You can be sure your pet will get consistent reliable care by a trustworthy caregiver. There will be no shortage of affection and attention. Daily walks in local parks, trails, or simply around your neighborhood, playtime in the yard or the dog park, and lots of cuddle time too if they enjoy and appreciate that. I sincerely enjoy taking the time to get to know you and your beloved pet, and learning the details and nuances of their care instructions so there is no interruption in/to their routine while in my care. I have experience with senior pets as well. Please note that my 5 year old does accompany me on dog walks, drop in/day visits, and overnights. About: I have always had a dog, and currently have a super sweet and high energy vizsla/pit bull mix. She loves to run and so do I. I've spent years volunteering at the Humane Society walking dogs, and have done several adoption events with Mountain Pet Rescue. I work from home and am flexible with my availability. I am usually available on short notice if necessary and can check on your pet any day of the week. I am happy to follow whatever routine your pet is used to. I understand how important schedules are for some pets and will make sure they are kept on the schedule that they are familiar with. We can go for walks, play in the yard, or work on commands inside the home if it's raining and they need mental stimulation. Or we can cuddle up on the couch if that's their vibe.

About: I have experience with many exotic species, from bearded dragons to hamsters and guinea pigs. I've had different breeds of dogs and cats for many years. I just love all types of animals. Many of my current babies are rehabilitated rescues. I have some medical knowledge from this. I also work at Pet Supplies Plus part time! I would love to meet your fur babies. I currently work part-time for pet supplies plus, so I have extra time to spend with your fur babies and give them the attention they need.
