About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

About: Thank you for helping fund my college education!! About my Pet Care Experience: I am an experienced foster for many types of pets, ranging from week-old bottle-babies to elderly large dogs and different cats. Routine is important! I have learned to provide specific schedules for all types of fur babies depending on their needs. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor's in nursing, so I am booked Mondays all day and Wednesday mornings. I make lots of tie for pets, as I recognize the value in enrichment. I run in the mornings, so let me know if your dog/dogs would like to join me as well! Water is always fresh and available, food is provided on a schedule unless otherwise noted. My apartment is not huge but there's nothing dangerous for pets. I pick up any smal items and plants when pets are home.

I’m completely comfortable with senior pets, pets with unique temperaments, following specific feeding routines, or administering medications (including injections) if needed. You can relax knowing your pets are safe and getting all the attention they need. Whether your pet needs a mid-day walking buddy or just a calm presence to hang out with during the workday, I’m happy to step in and help. I do not offer overnights at this time, but can arrange several drop ins throughout the day if you're out of town. I have a shepherd mix and two cats at home. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to spend caring for animals! I am available for drop ins, walks, and longer daycare sessions in your home. I place safety first when caring for dogs and will always follow your routine and care instructions. I have experience with reactive pups and am comfortable caring for and walking dogs of all temperaments, given proper safety measurements are implemented (such as walking dogs separately when needed).

About: For many years I've been my family and friends go-to animal sitter and daytime/evening caregiver. I take pride in their trust in me caring for their babies. I have two fur babies of my own. My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and others my whole life. I’m good with pets of all size! Currently have two 15 year old cats and a couple outdoor strays that I feed. I’m available before or after work for walks or drop in visits. I live in downtown Brunswick, love how walkable and gorgeous this area is. I have a fenced yard and lots of space to run and play. I may not add home sitting visits to my profile yet though.

At this time I do not have a pet companion but miss them dearly. Once I have an established routine in the area I will be in search of another furry walking companion. I am available throughout the Saluda, Hendersonville and Landrum area and am doing human caregiving throughout the WNC area. If your dog agrees I am open to taking them on local hikes.
