I’m a graphic designer - most work I do is from home. So my schedule is very flexible and on the go! I can work and sit in while watching your animal! 😀 I have a dog myself - she is hardly ever caged and is trained to stay out and behave accordingly. She is very energetic. But LOVES people and other animals.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who will care about and adore your pets as if they are my own. I have lived with dogs and cats, plus the occasional fish, bird, or Guinea pig, since I was born, so I’ve been taking care of them since I was a small child. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets and keep them safe, as well as to provide oral medications and keep skittish, anxious, or previously traumatized pets calm during storms, fireworks, or separation anxiety. My other job is massage therapy, so there are times when I am not home or not available. I work 5-hour afternoon shifts Fri-Mon. On other days I may have shorter time blocks when I am away due to in-home appointments. I have a great deal of experience house-sitting and caring for the pets of the house while doing so. Other than needing to keep the space fragrance-free, I will be happy to take care of your home and pets as close to exactly how you would as I can. I have a small SUV, so I can take dogs to parks if desired, but even if it’s not, I will be delighted to walk them around your neighborhood or play with them in your yard.

He arrived promptly at the designated times, fed, walked and played with our pups. He is very kind and responsive giving us comfort that they were getting the attention they need. Our English Springer Spaniel is full of energy and Brad was able to give him the play time fetching sticks to burn off some of his energy. About: I believe that pets deserve an abundance of respect and understanding, as well as optimal attention and care. In general, I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs and cats than people and treat them all with dignity, respect, and love. I have had decades of experience with a variety of pets, from blind pugs to anxious mutts to timid cats and everything in between. I believe pets must be addressed on their own level and met where they are. As a middle-aged woman with many responsibilities and experiences, I am adept at managing a wide variety of pet tasks with conscientiousness and skill. You can be confident that your dogs and cats will be in safe and loving hands with me while you are away. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for about 3 years, and I also worked at a doggy daycare for a year! During that time, I gained experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Working at a daycare taught me how important patience and understanding are, especially when dogs miss their owners, feel anxious, or don’t want to eat. I know every dog is different, and I always take the time to understand their individual needs and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, and I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m currently a college student, so my schedule and availability change each semester depending on my classes. I also work part-time on weekends, but I have free time during the week that I would love to spend caring for dogs! While weekdays are generally easier for me, I’m also open to weekend pet sitting and would be happy to discuss availability in advance. I think pet sitting fits perfectly into my college routine because it allows me to do something I genuinely enjoy while balancing school and work. I love spending time with dogs, and I truly believe their companionship would brighten my day just as much as I hope to brighten theirs! Since I currently live in a college dorm, I only offer pet care in the owner’s home. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe and comfortable, especially when their owners are away. I believe keeping them in a familiar environment and maintaining their usual routine can make a big difference! About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but since Sadie passed, it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I also do drop-ins and daycare as well. I've done puppy care and senior care as too so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! I currently don’t have a fenced in yard but I will walk around my neighborhood and have a decent sized backyard. I treat your babies like they're my own so they get lots of lovin. Sometimes we go to the State Park too! If they like car rides I'll take them to check my mail or little errands.
