About: I am a grounded and compassionate person, who absolutely loves animals! Dogs and cats are my specialty, but have cared for goats , chickens and bunnies! Ive been filling my free time dog/cat walking and house sitting for the last 6 years, and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. About: For many years I've been my family and friends go-to animal sitter and daytime/evening caregiver. I take pride in their trust in me caring for their babies. I have two fur babies of my own. My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. I work remotely Monday-Friday, I’m happy to accommodate your pets needs during the hours of, 6pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. About: I have owned pets for over 8 years; both dogs and cats. I have little experience with dogs under 1 year old, but I am responsible and diligent so I believe that I can handle dogs under 1 if I am given the chance. I have dog sit for a couple that had 4 dogs, and they were all over 50 pounds, so I am good at handling multiple dogs. I have never been hired to take care of a cat, but I have lived with cats for over 10 years, so I know how to take care of them. I love both dogs and cats, and I am excited to meet your four-legged friends! I currently do not have a job due to the fact that I am in school. I have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 2 pm, so any scheduling would have to work around that. I am available all day on any other day to dog walk, pet sit during the day, or overnight. I am very attentive when it comes to taking care of anyone's pets, and I treat them as if they were my own. I love to play with cats or dogs indoor or outdoor. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too.
