About: I’ve been animal-obsessed for as long as I can remember 🐾💕 I’ve worked with animals most of my life and currently work at a veterinary clinic in Brevard, so I have tons of hands-on experience with all kinds of pet needs. About: I have had dogs, fish, and rodents all my life. I volunteered at the Asheville Humane Society early into my teenage years. My previous job was at a dog daycare, which I worked at for one year. After I left that job I began working as a pet bather at a grooming salon. I recently left that job as I wanted to go back to school, and now started volunteering for the Asheville Humane Society again. I have pet sat for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, fish, rabbits, pretty much anything. I am happy do feed, walk, play with, or just snuggle with any critter you might have! Beginning in August I will be in school and will not be able to do any services until 1:00 or later on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also go to church Sunday mornings and also cannot do any services before 1:00. However I do not have a job at the moment so other than those two things my schedule is pretty open! *Because of school if you are wanting to book me for house sitting longer than two nights you MUST have WiFi* I am more than happy to provide any service you would like me to do for your fur baby in your home. I do not mind long walks/hikes, preparing complicated meals, playing, whatever you need. I never raise my voice or get physical with animals. I will care for them with love and care!

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. I’m hoping to save up and earn as much money as I can to help host our dream wedding here in the mountains next year! We both love our babies and I would be happy to give your fur babies that same love and support ☺️ UPDATE: Sadly I can no longer provide overnight sittings. I AM available to do a sitting that does not require me to stay at your home overnight. I understand if this prevents you from hiring me for a sitting. I currently work remote full-time but do have some flexibility in my schedule to fit in drop-ins and walks. Wednesdays are usually when I have the most calls, but of course can try and work around my and your schedule. I’m happy to come to your home to give you that reassurance that your fur baby is doing okay while you’re away. As I said, I work fully remote so my pets pretty much have constant care unless I’m traveling for work. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I have been told I’m very high energy and fun, and the animals I have looked after always seem to pick up on that great energy and can’t wait to hang out. :) I sell vintage clothing, so being self employed allows me to better accommodate to all the needs of the animals. In our own home, our dog Endo is the King. He gets to enjoy long daily walks amidst the beauty of DuPont forest, swims in the lake behind our house, and nightly fresh cooked meals. My services on house sits include obviously feeding and general care of the animals, as well as promptly following specific dietary regimens and health requirements of every animal. I have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. I have also looked after countless plants and hot tubs, ensuring proper watering and chlorination.

About: I am a nurse finishing Nurse Practitioner school taking time to focus on studies and family. I love to play and give lovings to them! I am currently finishing my degree to become a family nurse practitioner, so I am pretty open. I am available after 7:30 in the mornings. I have a cat who is very spoiled and loved. I make sure to spend time with pets and make sure they feel loved and safe.

About: I’ve had pets all of my life ranging from cats and dogs to a bearded dragon. I love and care for all animals and will do that for yours as well. As my apartment doesn’t allow pets, currently I don’t own any, but I love to go home and see our family dog Kodi. For Kodi we have a set time for food, walk her when we have free time everyday, and water is available at any time and we have set times in the morning and evening to let her out for the bathroom, while allowing her to go out at other times when needed. I will act according to the owners specific instructions, while doing what I need to do to take care of their pets in the best way possible.

About: Hello! I’m Sam, an entrepreneur, artist, animal lover, traveler, and mom to Benny, the sweetest 11-year-old ever. We love to explore new places, but we firmly believe that life is better with furry friends, so house-sitting has become a perfect fit for us! Sometimes we come as a house-sitting team and sometimes (while he is with his dad), I travel solo. For drop-in visits and dog-walks, I typically come solo, but I will always communicate this ahead of time if that changes! I was raised with German Shepherds and Yorkies, so big or small, I love them all! We’ve rescued three feral kittens who’ve become the biggest loves and rule our house. Our last pup rescue, Ellie, was a mix who was equal parts love-bug and wild-child so I’m quite comfortable with dogs who need extra exercise to tire them out as well as older dogs that just want to snooze on the couch. (We have a 3 generation household and my mom's pup is a senior Yorkie who is deaf and mostly blind...so I have lots of experience dealing with special needs dogs, medications, etc) We’ve watched numerous dogs, cats, both indoor friends and barn cats, as well as a horse, a donkey, a few guinea pigs, and lots of chickens. Plus we love caring for gardens, filling bird feeders, and tending to a home. I work from home, running an online business, so my schedule is quite flexible. I love to walk dogs while my son is at school or take them for hikes with the kiddo on the weekends. Whether we are tending to horses on a farm or cat-sitting in a big city, we believe a home should be respected and cared for and animals should be treated as family. Our sweetheart Ridgeback mix, Ellie, passed away in 2021 and house-sitting has helped our hearts to heal as we have had the opportunity to care for such amazing fur babies as we travel. We can’t wait until we buy a home and can once again have a dog of our own, but until then, we are so thankful to be able to love on the pets we watch!
