About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have one dog and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed. Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.

“I hadn't left Chloe with anyone for over three years, so finding a dog sitter was a big event in our life. She and I spend every day, all day together, so I was like a mama dropping her child for their first day of kindergarten. But Chloe had such a positive meet and greet, she couldn't wait to return! During our initial meeting, Rayana let Chloe thoroughly explore her house, which thrilled her as she's part hound dog and her nose demands she smell every crack and crevice. When Rayana invited her up on the sofa and gave her a pillow, Chloe looked at me like, omg, are you seeing this?! Nobody lets me up on their couch but you, mom! The cherry on top was when Rayana proceeded to give her lots of hugs and kisses and praise. We had a wonderful chat, after which Chloe discovered the doggie door and the yard, and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to get her to leave! When we returned for doggy daycare I was feeling emotional and worried I might start blubbering, but within a minute of arriving, Chloe was so excited to be there that I couldn't get her attention to tell her I was leaving! It made all the difference to know she was with someone who would love on her like I do. Chloe was a rescue who had a traumatic start in life, and I never imagined I would find someone who'd give her the kind of love and attention that has helped her heal and flourish. About: I've had dogs my whole life and currently have 4 very happy snoops from small to large. I'd love to walk, hike and/or run your dogs to keep them happy.I've cared for puppies and senior dogs and am comfortable with both. Pet care is easy for me since I don't have a regular work schedule. I retired as a Navy contractor and competitive triathlete. I can walk them, let them out and feed them early morning and late evening. We have a large fenced in dog yard and can bring your best friends to our house to run in a safe area, this is especially nice for dogs that don't do well around other dogs.

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. I’m hoping to save up and earn as much money as I can to help host our dream wedding here in the mountains next year! We both love our babies and I would be happy to give your fur babies that same love and support ☺️ UPDATE: Sadly I can no longer provide overnight sittings. I AM available to do a sitting that does not require me to stay at your home overnight. I understand if this prevents you from hiring me for a sitting. I currently work remote full-time but do have some flexibility in my schedule to fit in drop-ins and walks. Wednesdays are usually when I have the most calls, but of course can try and work around my and your schedule. I’m happy to come to your home to give you that reassurance that your fur baby is doing okay while you’re away. As I said, I work fully remote so my pets pretty much have constant care unless I’m traveling for work. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.

About: As a child I was always the person that was bringing home the lost and injured animals I came across. Not much has changed as an adult. I worked with a pet rescue for over a decade, unfortunately the rescue was dissolved but my love for animals has not faded. I have experience with many different species of pets, ranging in age from newborn and needing to be fed every 2 hours to senior animals that need extra care and patience. I am experienced in giving medicine, and providing all the love and attention your fur babies deserve. I am currently in a career transition and taking classes part time at a local college so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and make sure they have as much love as possible. I personally have a dog that needs wiped after she potties to prevent UTIs and it is a deal breaking for me when I can tell a sitter has not followed my instructions. I understand that routine is important and strive to be a few minutes early for every appointment. I also understand that someone other than yourself caring for your beloved furbaby can be stressful for both you and them. I strive to ease as much of that stress for both parents and furchildren as possible. About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
