“My pup Pickles stayed with Brody for a week while I was out of town. Brody has great demeanor and command with all the dogs he takes care of. Always seems to have multiple on site which was a bonus for me as it gave Pickles lots of social time with the others. Every dog that was there, when I was present, listened well and and seemed very happy. I had the chance to check out the set-up before booking and there's plenty of room to roam, play or relax - whether each dog wants to socialize or just hang out by themselves. Finally, his "dog cave" (think Man-Cave/She-shed) was perfect for the dogs to cool off and sleep in a climate controlled and peaceful environment - with each dog having their own crate to call home. Brody provided pics/videos of Pickles to ease my mind - knowing he was being well taken care of and happy in my absence.”

About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have one dog and a cat. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. About: I grew up with dogs as family pets and have always considered myself a “dog person.” My family had a sheepdog, a black lab, and a Scottish sheepdog, which helped shape my lifelong love for animals. About 30 years ago, I met my wife, a true cat person through and through, and over time I happily transitioned into becoming a devoted cat lover as well. Over the years, my wife and I have shared life with three cats, even taking them on leash walks around the neighborhood—yes, I am proudly that person now. Bella, my 18-year-old super senior cat, just lost her struggle with kidney disease and we miss her dearly. My wife and I spoil our animals all the time. Our cats have always been like children to us and the bonds we build with our animals over the years have been deeply meaningful. I believe animals teach unconditional love, friendship, and have a beautiful way of offering comfort exactly when it’s needed most. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spent years looking after neighbors’ chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a rat! After 13 years of teaching English at a nearby Early College, I recently retired from education and am excited to begin this new chapter with Rover. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When I am not caring for animals, I run a professional mountain biking guide service in Asheville called Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventures. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. I’m hoping to save up and earn as much money as I can to help host our dream wedding here in the mountains next year! We both love our babies and I would be happy to give your fur babies that same love and support ☺️ UPDATE: Sadly I can no longer provide overnight sittings. I AM available to do a sitting that does not require me to stay at your home overnight. I understand if this prevents you from hiring me for a sitting. I currently work remote full-time but do have some flexibility in my schedule to fit in drop-ins and walks. Wednesdays are usually when I have the most calls, but of course can try and work around my and your schedule. I’m happy to come to your home to give you that reassurance that your fur baby is doing okay while you’re away. As I said, I work fully remote so my pets pretty much have constant care unless I’m traveling for work. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.

About: I have been taking care of other people's animals since middle school and just love getting to know your pets! Experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and fish! Willing to take on pets with medical needs! I work 40 hours over 5 days days a week. I am typically away from the house from 9 am - 5 pm or 11 am - 7 pm. Depending on your location, I may be able to pop back to the house on my short lunch break. I am comfortable walking your animals on leashes, pushing them in strollers, using a treadmill, playing with them in the yard, or whatever else is your routine and preference!

About: Ive owned dogs since a child..Basset Hound. Doberman, Pugs (I used to foster pugs in Dallas and adopted 4 at one point), Boston Terrier, Mixed breeds and love them all. Ive currently got a Beagle mix that I adopted 12 yrs ago "Jaz". I’m currently building an art-focused business and have a flexible schedule that works well for house sitting and pet care. I’m available for early morning walks and feedings, as well as afternoon check-ins, playtime and walks. I enjoy creating a steady routine that keeps your pet happy and comfortable throughout the day. Always seems to have multiple on site which was a bonus for me as it gave Pickles lots of social time with the others. I had the chance to check out the set-up before booking and there's plenty of room to roam, play or relax - whether each dog wants to socialize or just hang out by themselves. Finally, his "dog cave" (think Man-Cave/She-shed) was perfect for the dogs to cool off and sleep in a climate controlled and peaceful environment - with each dog having their own crate to call home. Brody provided pics/videos of Pickles to ease my mind - knowing he was being well taken care of and happy in my absence.”
