About: Hi, I’m Liz! I’ve cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life and began pet sitting in my neighborhood 20 years ago. Growing up with dogs, cats, and pocket pets, I gained hands-on experience with critters of all ages and sizes, from sibling rats to senior cats to a 90-pound lap dog. One of my earliest pet-sitting jobs involved caring for three dogs and three cats for a month while their humans were in Australia. Most recently, my partner, Logan, and I fostered a nursing mum dog and her seven newborn puppies for eight weeks through Asheville Humane Society. That experience included round-the-clock puppy care, oral medication, weaning, training, socialization, and helping eight dogs safely share a home with our resident cat, Helly! Logan and I both work from home and genuinely enjoy having animals around, whether that means exploring outside or simply providing a cozy place to nap nearby. With compassion and patience, we love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and favorite things so they can feel comfortable and at home with us. My partner and I both work from home, so pets fit naturally into our daily routine and are rarely without company. We’re homebodies who genuinely enjoy having animals around, with plenty of time throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, leisurely walks, meals, snuggles, and naps. Since every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, I take time to understand what helps each one feel safe and at home. We have a fully fenced yard and a pet-friendly home with plenty of room to play, relax, or enjoy their own space when needed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any care instructions you provide.

About: I have pet sit for friends, family and co workers over the years in addition to always have two of my own cats. I treat all pets as I would want someone to treat mine! 🥰 I am a reservist in the Coast Guard. I only work one weekend a month and am trying to find more work with things I am passionate about while being outside. To me, nothing is better than dog walking to fit that description! I have a small fenced in patio and a three bedroom home. I live close to a park and love to go walking! Again, I always treat other people’s pets how I would care for my own.

He was still adjusting to our recent move and had been stressed by water intrusion issues and all the maintenance visits that followed. Littles spent most of that first visit hiding behind the couch, but she was patient and determined to win him over. “Alex was absolutely wonderful! He came out to meet the cats beforehand and really listened to all of the information and spent time getting to know the kitties. He also read through and followed my written directions which are pretty extensive. He has top notch written communication skills. I generally got a several paragraph update on the cats each day, long with lots of daily pictures, and the info he sent was always very understandable and thorough. Alex couldn’t do mornings, so I had other people filling in. One of them accidentally locked the cat in a room that was supposed to be kept closed. Alex noticed, even though this particular cat will not come out to see anyone ever, and expressed his concern to me That he didn’t notice her food was being eaten. He then spent quite a while searching for the cat and managed to find her, and carry her out, even though she was really scared. He cleaned up the mess she made, and she must’ve been pretty happy with him because he saw her every day after that. He even left notes for the other sitters as needed if things were not going well. He took care of plants and many other things on top of that, and the house was clean and spotless, with pictures of the water bowl, litter boxes, and food dishes every day. I feel totally comfortable leaving my cats in his care anytime!”
