About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for dogs, cats, and chickens, many of them rescues. Over the years, I've gained experience caring for animals with a variety of personalities, ages, and care needs. I also have experience with pet sitting, dog walking, house sitting, and assisting with Rover clients. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
