About: I currently pet sit for my friends and family, but I would love to meet even more furry friends! I have always been a passionate animal lover. When I was thirteen I went vegetarian because of my love for animals and have never looked back. I have been working with dogs and cats since I was 8. My grandma had ties to the Savannah humane society and frequently took me along to volunteer for them. When I was a teenager I fostered a puppy and then a kitten who both needed to be bottle fed and I really loved the experiences. During covid I adopted my two cats (Bandsaw and Lathe) and realized my cat lady destiny. I moved in with my boyfriend shortly after, and together we now have 4 cats (Bandsaw, Lathe, Challa, and Shurri). Last year, I cared for two neighborhood stray cats and was able to tame them, to the point that one was able to be adopted out, and the other socialized enough for pets and treats. I am a ceramic artist and product designer by trade, and my cat Lathe has been my muse since I met her. A lot of my ceramic work is centered on cats and dogs, and I have designed 3 cat lamps for mass manufacture for a major retailer which are currently on the market. I have painted pet portrait commissions on and off since I was 15. I am a freelance designer and an independent artist, so I generally have open availability, and would love to help take care of your pets! I am more than happy to change the litter box, walk your dogs, administer medicine, crate cats/dogs if necessary, and any other special requests that you as the owner might have. It is important to me to treat animals with love and respect, so I always introduce myself slowly and read their body language before doing anything else.

About: I’ve owned and cared for animals since I was a small child. We’ve had everything from parrots, chickens and fish to dogs cats and snakes. I regularly house sit and pet sit for friends and family. I also have cared for animals every day at the Brevard Zoo and have cared for others at previous jobs such as the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park, the May Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and the Avian Conservation Center: Center for Birds of Prey. About: I’ve been sitting dogs at my Florida home for many years. I moved to Asheville two years ago for work and now I’m mostly retired. I live in North Asheville in a small apartment and available to house and pet sit. Having boarded dogs in my own house for many years you can bet I will give your home utmost respect and your pets the best care and companionship. Walk dogs. Play with the dogs and cats and keep them content. And hang out on watch lots of TV together. Since I’m mostly retired I have lots of free time to spend with the pets. All instructions by owner for their pet care will be closely followed and respected. I’m sensitive about pets food needs and won’t feed them human food or let them up on the furniture if not allowed. Cat litter boxes will be cleaned daily. Longer stays will include brushing and baths for the dogs.

About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. I am an artist and market vendor, and I am able to adjust my schedule much of the time to fit in with your needs. I am happy to walk dogs and do check-ins at your home. I am a careful and cautious person and will follow instructions given as closely as I can.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I have taken care of dogs for around 4 years. Friends, family and roommates have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their animals. I work from home and travel at least once a month for my job. I create my own schedule so I can be very flexible I have a large yard for your dog to run around and play as well as one dog of my own who is very friendly. My neighborhood is very walkable, I’m within walking distance of Lake Louise Park & I’m close by to other dog-friendly parks as well. There’s plenty of room if your dog needs to be crated indoors as well.

About: I have two inside rescue cats and two dogs. One dogs is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and weighs 100 pounds my other dog is a rescue mix and weighs 70 pounds. I love going for long walks to give my dogs plenty of exercise and some short runs. I have lots of experience with cats since I've been around them since I was five years old. I can play, groom (brush or trim claws) or just read a book with one on my lap. I've been taking care of dogs and cats for my close friends when they were away on vacation for many years. Taking care of animals gives me great joy. Playing fetch is always a fun activity for active dogs in the backyard.
