About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 16. I also grew up with 4 medium sized dogs at a time. I have always had a love for animals and love to meet other fur babies. I have been able to follow feeding instructions and if needed have followed giving medications. Just a heads up I will not be accepting bookings from June on until I am sure where I will be after college. I’m currently a senior in college with only 2 classes and 2 labs, so I will have a lot of time to spend with your pups! I have a small, fenced yard and I have one yellow lab at home that is very dog friendly. I will follow up with you anytime I arrive at your house and will provide a recap of my time with your animal. I will follow all instructions given to me ahead of time to ensure you receive the best care for your furry friend. “Alex was great!! This was my first time booking a sitter through Rover and I was a little nervous but he went above and beyond for me and the kitties. Everyday he sent lots of great photos and detailed summaries of each visit. Two of my kitties are very shy but my very sociable son absolutely loves Alex. He told me his vibes are good lol. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I have been formally trained in dog and cat care at Wagly Inc. and taught to recognize animal body language and how to address their needs. Aside from caring for my own dog and cat for the past 10 years, I managed dog play time at Wagly with at least 10 dogs at a time, big and small, fed them, cleaned up after them, took them on walks, and did individual play time. I will be free over the summer of 2026, primarily at the end of May and all of August. I may be working part-time, but my schedule is flexible, and I can provide my own transportation. About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! About: I’ve been sitting dogs at my Florida home for many years. I moved to Asheville two years ago for work and now I’m mostly retired. I live in North Asheville in a small apartment and available to house and pet sit. Having boarded dogs in my own house for many years you can bet I will give your home utmost respect and your pets the best care and companionship. Walk dogs. Play with the dogs and cats and keep them content. And hang out on watch lots of TV together. Since I’m mostly retired I have lots of free time to spend with the pets. All instructions by owner for their pet care will be closely followed and respected. I’m sensitive about pets food needs and won’t feed them human food or let them up on the furniture if not allowed. Cat litter boxes will be cleaned daily. Longer stays will include brushing and baths for the dogs.

About: I come from a family of vets— loving animals is in by blood! From my first job at a dog boarding company, to training and protecting my anxious 80lb pibble, to long cuddles with my lazy couch potato hound, to say I’ve learned a lot about dog care and psychology is an understatement. About: I have taken care of dogs for around 4 years. Friends, family and roommates have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their animals. I work from home and travel at least once a month for my job. I create my own schedule so I can be very flexible I have a large yard for your dog to run around and play as well as one dog of my own who is very friendly. My neighborhood is very walkable, I’m within walking distance of Lake Louise Park & I’m close by to other dog-friendly parks as well. There’s plenty of room if your dog needs to be crated indoors as well.

About: I have had animals in my life since I was born. Currently have a horse, a pony, two goats, three cats, and two dogs living on my property/in my house. I love them all dearly. They are quite literally my children, so I understand the importance of high quality care for your pets. I work full-time from home and usually have lots of free time as my job isn’t incredibly demanding. I usually leave for a few hours in the evening after work to go ride my horse, but other than that I am quite open. I live on 4 1/2 acres. I have a very small fenced in backyard, but I usually walk my dogs 2-3x a day instead of just putting them out there. I do not live on a busy road.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals and have a farm of own. I’m experienced with administering medications, wound dressing, feeding, playing and living on all types of animals. These include dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, goats, llamas, geese, chickens and ducks. I work full time remote and can easily manage my job while taking care of your animals.
