I had the chance to check out the set-up before booking and there's plenty of room to roam, play or relax - whether each dog wants to socialize or just hang out by themselves. Finally, his "dog cave" (think Man-Cave/She-shed) was perfect for the dogs to cool off and sleep in a climate controlled and peaceful environment - with each dog having their own crate to call home. Brody provided pics/videos of Pickles to ease my mind - knowing he was being well taken care of and happy in my absence.”

About: I have always been a dog person. People at work call me the dog whisperer. I have so much love and patience to give. I have trained my dog since he was a puppy and I have taken care of senior dogs as well. I am currently fully focused on pet care. My daily and weekly schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. This more time with furry friends the better! I have a Furbo if I am not home. I do have community activities out but they do not dominate my day. I spend my time focused on creativity (working on art and music projects) at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am very active and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, I am here most of the time. My husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). If boarding in my home, I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.

We just ask that if your animal has any aggressive tendencies, to please consider other options or contact me for a meet and greet to see if we make a good fit. I’m here to play with your pet during the day and take them out/feed them/give them treats as much as needed. I do ask that you be as honest as possible about your pet’s potty-training issues (if any) and temperament/energy levels - we want them to be comfortable with us but we also have to look out for our kiddo. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, I grew up with dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs. I feel like I’ve had it all, I am also a very seasoned Vet tech. I am expierenced with giving animals medication as well. If I am watching a dog I will be sure to make sure they get enough exercise, and any other pets I will make sure they all get love and cuddles! My own pets are super spoiled, and I would treat your pets just like they were my own. I don’t care about breeds, from working in a vets office I do have experience with animals that can sometimes be moody. I sure hope I get to talk to you soon! I do currently work 3 days a week, so pets that will be staying in my home will be taken care of before and after work by me. Previously, I was a nurse at a general practice hospital for 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life.
