About: Hi, I’m Alexis! I live with my friendly dog, Addy, on a beautiful four-acre property with easy access to lots of walking trails — perfect for pets who love the outdoors. I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s energetic puppies, senior pets needing extra care, or animals with specific routines, I make sure each one feels safe, loved, and at home. I’m experienced with leash walks, medication administration, and overnight stays. Your pets will get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention — and I always send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and cared for. I work from home full-time, so I’m available to give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, and cuddle breaks easily fit into my routine. We’ll start the day with a walk on the trails, then play, explore the yard, and relax in the sun. We can also visit dog parks, etc. if that is something that they like to do.
“I'm so glad we found Nate!! He was so patient, easy going and communicated every step of the way. He didn't make us feel like our dogs were nuisances or an inconvenience like a previous sitter made us feel. I was so happy to see both my dogs having so much fun running around with Bilbo in the huge fenced in area. Bilbo is the sweetest dog ever! We're going to be repeat customers.”

“Kali sent me updates, with pictures, and was quick to respond when I contacted her. It was a perfect situation, plenty of space and her dogs are great. I am delighted to have her as a resource for my Toby.”
About: I have 10 years of professional pet care experience with glowing testimonials from the families I’ve worked with! This includes professional experience with dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, donkeys, rabbits, aerial birds, ground fowl, snakes and other reptiles. My family fostered all manner of animal throughout my childhood and I continued to as an adult. I spent the last 4 years boarding pets and doing farm care in Cincinnati, OH. Now that I’m settled back in Appalachia (my ancestral home) I’m eager to care for all the lovely pets here with the same knowledge, patience and kindness ❤️ I can administer all types of medication, have plenty of emergency response experience, my first aid certification and I can perform CPR on pets if ever needed. I’m very experienced in obedience training (through positive reinforcement), potty training, leash training, teaching tricks and commands, and I can run for hours with the high energy dogs. I’ve even harness trained many cats for walks and outdoor adventure. I send updates with photos every day and I’m available all hours for check ins at your leisure. I can provide food, treats and other pet care products at your request. If you’re interested in grooming and bathing I’m happy to add those services and have experience with even the most bath resistant pets! I want all the pets I see to leave happier than they arrived, and for all pet owners I serve to know their pets are well cared for and consistently attended to. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to me. There’s very little we can’t solve together! I do this full time, so all my hours go to your pets happiness! We fill the days with games, running, exploring outdoors, brushing, training and end the days with treats and cozy relaxation. Pets around me only receive love and encouragement. I do not scold, and if behavior needs to be prevented for their safety I use a firm tone and/or time outs to manage. I do not believe punishing animals helps them learn, and I always use positive reinforcement to correct behavior. This would be something I communicate with you ahead of time, to ensure all the commands and care are consistent with what they get at home. They usually are allowed on all the furniture unless you inform me they are trained not to, in which case I would abide by their training. I would never, ever leave a pet outside unattended or without access to water and comfort. Your trust in me to keep your pets safe is extremely important and I assure you they’re in great hands while you’re away!
“Molly was wonderful to meet and took great care of our GSP. We can recommend her without hesitation. Her pup and ours played so well together. Hope to use Molly’s pet services when we return to Asheville.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about this lovely lady to do her justice! She took such good care of my baby girl! She helped her come out of her shell and was just amazing with her! She cared for her so lovingly and sent me pictures and updates of her throughout the day ! I feel so lucky to have found her!”

About: I lived with and cared for dogs growing up and have loved them my whole life. I raised six of my own. I am certified by the American Red Cross in First Aide for Dogs & Cats and am a certified Dog Groomer. I am familiar with all kinds of harnesses and collars and know how to use them correctly. I trained all the dogs I raised, and all were healthy and happy. I had raised three cats of my own who I adored. You can rest assured knowing that I am a loving and responsible, mature adult who will love your pets as my own. I always provide fresh reverse osmosis water on walks and during playtime. I am trustworthy in other people's houses! Also, please note that my home is a small townhouse with no yard. There's a fenced-in dog park right around the corner from my house where I can take the dogs to play. I'm available for dog walks and drop-in visits within the Asheville area. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. Have a wonderful, woof-meow great day! :-) I am a work-from-home Writer and am here with my beloved dogs all day. We go out on long walks to their favorite places, play and visit their friends and hike on trails at local parks. We would love to integrate your dog into our routine. I will watch your dog, let him/her sleep on the recliner chair or by my feet with my two Cavaliers. My home is dog/puppy proofed. They can't get into the cabinets. The house is kept neat and clean, usually but for boarding and daycare I'll need three days advance notice to book so that I can have enough time to clean my house properly before your dog arrives. They will have a large living room and my home office to play in. Both rooms are carpeted. They're also welcome to nap on the bed in the master bedroom.
“Stephanie was very sweet and patient with my baby and I am so appreciative. She sent me updates throughout the day which I enjoyed. She was accommodating to my hectic schedule.”

“Paul and his fiancé were amazing with our boy, Ezra. As my service dog, he is always with me. There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. I would definitely reach out to Paul as a pet sitter should the need arise the next time we visit beautiful North Carolina! Thank you both for taking such good care of our Ezra. We truly appreciate all you did to help him adjust and feel comfortable, confident and happy!!! :)”

“Jennie and Craig graciously agreed to take our dog, Jetson, on very short notice. They are extremely kind and hospitable, even after Jetson summarily relieved himself on their Christmas tree. 🙄 That was horrifying. They have a huge fenced back yard and their golden retriever was the sweetest thing ever!! So cuddly and sweet!!! I cannot recommend Jennie and Craig highly enough. You can't ask for a better home away from home for your pup.”

“5 stars. I highly recommend KaLynn. KaLynn watched my dog while I explored Ashville for the day. She took him for walks and sent picture updates. I felt at ease and was able to enjoy my day exploring Asheville knowing he was in good hands. Thanks KaLynn for providing great care for Cody.”

“Cara was wonderful working with our schedule. She gave updates and pictures of our Buddy's day. Cara was quick to respond to communications. Buddy came home happy boy. I will definitely use Cara again. Very happy customer.”

“Aditi and her family are lovely, caring, warm people who obviously loved my little one all day long. She is communicative, responsive and provides all the information needed to feel comfortable about leaving my loved one in her home. I highly recommend her!”

“Ann & Jaren took such great care of my Lottie girl when I was on vacation to NYC! They kept me up to date with lots of pictures; being that this was the first time we were apart for this long, I really appreciated the photos and care she received. She was in great hands and I 100% will be using them in the future! Thanks again 😊”

“Shelley was great. I felt very comfortable leaving our girl with her for the day. She sent pictures throughout the day.i would definitely use her again. She's a 5 star all the way.”
