There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a small child. I have owned two dogs of my own and trained each of them. I have a flexible schedule to meet any needs you may have for your furry friend. I’ve been a registered nurse for 25+ and am taking a hiatus from nursing to heal from a traumatic assault. I have found pet care to be the most healing. Waking in the outdoors with pets has helped me a great deal. I do have a dachshund puppy that would need to accompany me if house sitting. He does not have to come for drop in visits or walking services. I am currently available with an open schedule and can accommodate most any needs. I live alone and can devote all of my attention to your pet. If your pet is in my home, they will be just like family, typically sitting with me. I have a dog park near by for off leash adventures and lots of room for leash walking. When in your home, I’d mirror a similar routine with your pet that you have for day to day.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I have a sweet 12 year old who also loves dogs and enjoys playing with them. I work from home most of the time some short windows of time out of the home. I have fostered puppies and dogs in the past. I work from home most of the week alongside my almost 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Our daily routine includes regular potty breaks, leash walks around the neighborhood, and trips to our local dog park. While I’m usually home, I do step out occasionally for work meetings (up to 3–4 hours at a time). My setup is very dog-friendly! I have a fully fenced-in yard lined with extra mesh security for smaller pups, plus baby gates downstairs to keep everyone safe and nearby while I work.

About: I've been around dogs since I was little and I've watched a few dogs in Asheville and taken them on walks and we always have a great time. I'm a musician, so I'm home full time and i have a flexible schedule and plenty of space to play with and walk a dog. My home is a very calm environment, and we have a nice outdoor space. The neighbors have dogs so there could be opportunities to play with other dogs if that's something they're into. If I was at your house it would be pretty much the same, I would of course be attentive and careful and I would treat your things like they were mine.

Chloe was a rescue who had a traumatic start in life, and I never imagined I would find someone who'd give her the kind of love and attention that has helped her heal and flourish. I can't recommend Rayana more highly. She is definitely a dog whisperer who clearly loves her four legged friends. ❤️”
