About: Hi! We’re an animal-loving family with room to roam and a whole lot of heart. We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. We’re very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and species under one roof. Our dogs are mature, well-socialized, and help create a calm, balanced pack environment. We live on 2 acres with a securely fenced quarter-acre for safe, supervised outdoor play. There’s plenty of space for sniffing, structured exercise, and relaxing in the fresh air. My wife and I are almost always home, so your pet will receive consistent supervision, attention, and affection. We also have a sweet baby, Cooper, who is growing up learning to gently and respectfully love animals. Our home is calm, structured, and family-oriented. In addition to boarding, we also offer drop-in visits for pets who are happiest staying in their own home. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, feeding, walks, medication, or just some companionship and playtime, we’re happy to help. I’m currently a stay at home parent so my schedule is wide open for both days and nights to take on boarding or do visits to other homes. My home has a large fenced area where our three dogs can roam and exercise. I am very reliable and respectful when it comes to entering others’ homes while taking care of their pets.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. I recently said goodbye to my own dog after 18 wonderful years together, and that experience deepened my understanding of the love, patience, and attentiveness our dogs deserve at every stage of life. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with a peaceful indoor space designed to keep dogs comfortable and at ease. Since I work from home, I’m able to supervise throughout the day and keep a close eye on each dog’s needs and comfort level. I take time to understand your dog’s routine, temperament, and preferences so they feel secure and at home. I keep my space clean, low-stress, and structured, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, or crate routines if needed. Supervised outdoor time: I don’t have a fenced yard, so all outdoor time is on‑leash and supervised. I’m mindful of other dogs we may meet on walks and keep interactions calm and controlled. Safe indoor environment: Inside, pets can relax, nap, and settle in a pet‑friendly space where I’m always nearby. At times, my grandkitty Kitana may be here, and she’s calm, gentle, and used to sharing space with visiting pets. Communication: You’ll receive updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If anything seems off — changes in appetite, behavior, or comfort — I’ll let you know right away.

“Paul and his fiancé were amazing with our boy, Ezra. As my service dog, he is always with me. There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. I would definitely reach out to Paul as a pet sitter should the need arise the next time we visit beautiful North Carolina! Thank you both for taking such good care of our Ezra.
