“We had a great experience using Katie and Jeremy to watch our dog. It was obvious that they love animals. They were kind and flexible and so easy to work with. This was our first time leaving our young dog and so we were a bit anxious. As a pup our dog has a lot of energy but he also has some medical conditions involving his back legs/knees which will be corrected this summer with surgery. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. They have a lovely property with a fenced in yard and a back porch - our dog was in dogggie- heaven. We were actually a bit worried he wouldn’t want to come home!! LOL! We will definitely use them again. Thank you, Katie and Jeremy!”

My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

About: I am a teacher in Asheville looking to hang out with some lovely animals in my free time. Growing up I have always had animals but primarily dogs so I have a strong background in dog behaviors and needs. My fiancé, Ellen, is also available to support during the week days that wouldn’t be optimal for me to leave during my teaching days. This gives a lot more availability! She has always grown up with cats and dogs and would love to help support to give them the best care. Often we both come for meet and greets/visits to ensure we give the best care 😊 I look forward to care for your animal in anyway I can. During the summer months I am available throughout the day times. My fiancé is a nurse and works 3 days out of the week. The schedule is flexible but sporadic. I love to get out for long walks and get as much movement as possible. If that’s for your animal I’d love to get them out! If not I am cautious about the animals typical areas and what works best for them.

In addition to boarding, we also offer drop-in visits for pets who are happiest staying in their own home. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, feeding, walks, medication, or just some companionship and playtime, we’re happy to help. I’m currently a stay at home parent so my schedule is wide open for both days and nights to take on boarding or do visits to other homes. My home has a large fenced area where our three dogs can roam and exercise. I am very reliable and respectful when it comes to entering others’ homes while taking care of their pets.

About: My past experience with dogs is lots of walking,hiking and playing. Most of my care taking has been either in my home or the dog owners. I frequently care for my past neighbors animals, chickens, cat and dog. Other dog sitting I have done has been for friends. I live within 15 to 20 minutes north of Asheville on a beautiful couple of acres that are fenced in. I am very caring so I love to show my affection towards animals and people. My space is clean, quiet and cozy. I would be different from other sitters because of my flexible schedule, my nurturing spirit and my impeccable references. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”
