About: ✨Experienced, loving care & peace of mind✨ I’ve been around and cared for dogs for most of my life, including raising three puppies of my own from the puppy stage up. I have hands-on experience with crate training, potty training, basic commands, leash skills, routines, enrichment, and navigating all of the wonderfully chaotic stages of puppyhood! I currently have a 10-month-old chocolate Lab, so I’m very familiar with energetic young dogs and the patience, consistency, exercise, and attention they need. We already structure our days around our own young Lab, so having dogs as part of our daily rhythm comes very naturally to us. On our days off, we love spending time outside, taking walks, exploring local trails, or just having a cozy day at home. No matter what, your pup gets to be part of the family while they’re here. 🐾 Our home is a relaxed, dog-loving environment where we want your pup to feel like part of the family. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac in a safe, very walkable neighborhood with a large yard. While our yard is not currently fenced, dogs are always supervised and leashed outdoors, and I’m very comfortable with leash walking and safely managing dogs outside. We have a young, friendly Lab who loves other dogs and four dog-savvy cats who are accustomed to sharing their home with a pup. Our home is also thoroughly puppy and toddler-proofed, and everyone in our household understands the importance of respecting a dog’s space, body language, boundaries, and individual personality. I’m big on maintaining consistency between your home and ours. If your dog is crate trained or currently learning we’re happy to continue their normal routine. The same goes for potty training, basic commands, feeding schedules, special diets, and any house rules you’re working on. Dogs can be fed separately to ensure everyone eats their own food, and we have an extra crate available or are happy to use your dog’s own crate if that makes them more comfortable. I love providing enrichment beyond simply letting dogs hang out! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. If your dog is happiest staying close to home, we’re just as happy to keep their world quiet and familiar.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I got into pet grooming at an early age and have worked and managed in a few different salons around Asheville, NC. I have extensive knowledge of animals such as keeping things sanitary and following strict schedules, diets and plans to fit the animals needs. About: Hi, I am a compassionate and dependable recent retiree. My two senior dogs passed away in the past 6 months and I am without any fur-babies for the first time in decades. I am honored to spend quality time with your loved one so you can have a worry-free vacation and I can have some doggy/kitty time! I am newly retired and have plenty of free time. I do have community activities out but they do not dominate my day. I spend my time focused on creativity (working on art and music projects) at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am very active and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, I am here most of the time. My husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). If boarding in my home, I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.
About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

About: Hello! My name is Heather. I am 53 and semi-retired. I drive for Uber to fill some of my time. I have cared for animals all of my life, starting with a farm when I was little. My first dog was named Tandy and my first cat was Tasha. I have been a fur baby mamma, pretty much always, as well as a sitter for friends and family. I do prefer to board at clients homes, where animals are in their own homes and more likely to be comfortable. When in a clients home, I absolutely treat the space and pets as if it was my own. As a pet owner myself, I know how it is always worrying about if your pets are safe and being cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind by by providing reliable, and compassionate care for your pets while caring for your home. About: I have two dogs at home. I have taken my oldest to puppy kindergarten when he was little and trained him and also trained my other dog as well. They are well trained and behaved. I am currently out of school and am looking for some side work while I try to get a other job. I have house and pet sat and babysat in the past so this would be easy. I have a beautiful big fenced yard to play and two very sweet dogs(one 12 year old boy and one 4 year old girl). I have a nice walk from my house I go on with my dogs often.

I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. Our home is also thoroughly puppy and toddler-proofed, and everyone in our household understands the importance of respecting a dog’s space, body language, boundaries, and individual personality. I’m big on maintaining consistency between your home and ours. If your dog is crate trained or currently learning we’re happy to continue their normal routine. The same goes for potty training, basic commands, feeding schedules, special diets, and any house rules you’re working on. Dogs can be fed separately to ensure everyone eats their own food, and we have an extra crate available or are happy to use your dog’s own crate if that makes them more comfortable. I love providing enrichment beyond simply letting dogs hang out! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. If your dog is happiest staying close to home, we’re just as happy to keep their world quiet and familiar.
