About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. About: I have two dogs at home. I have taken my oldest to puppy kindergarten when he was little and trained him and also trained my other dog as well. They are well trained and behaved. I am currently out of school and am looking for some side work while I try to get a other job. I have house and pet sat and babysat in the past so this would be easy. I have a beautiful big fenced yard to play and two very sweet dogs(one 12 year old boy and one 4 year old girl). I have a nice walk from my house I go on with my dogs often.

About: I have cared for my own pets, and for friends pets, for as long as I can remember. I am completely comfortable with any age and almost any type of pet. When I was 16 I volunteered at a Vet office for over a year where I learned everything from injection to caring for sick and injured animals. I feel prepared for just about anything that comes my way. I’m happy to now offer dog boarding. We have 3 acres with 1 acre fenced in for the dogs to play. We are in a semi-remote location in East Asheville so there are no busy roads. We usually only take in friends dogs for boarding but we are opening up our home for dog day care or boarding. I usually would try and schedule my visits around my kids school drop-off and pickup. I can usually be flexible if there are special circumstances. I have a flexible work from home job that would allow me to schedule my day around your pets needs. Your rules are my rules! I am very respectful of the rules you have set around your pet. About: As a remote Registered Nurse (RN), I bring a clinical eye to pet care. I notice subtle changes in behavior or health that others might miss. I’m comfortable administering medications in any form, from pills to inhalers, and my own pets are on daily medication routines so it’s second nature. My background in farming gave me hands-on experience with animal health and handling, and I’ve worked with my own dogs on training from puppyhood. I’m home all day, every day, so your dog gets constant attention and care, not just a place to play and sleep. I work from home Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time in the mornings, evenings, and throughout the day. I have lots of time for walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and my job allows me to step away whenever your pup needs attention. I can work from my office or the couch, wherever your dog is most comfortable. On my days off I tend to stay close to home, and if I do need to run an errand I won’t be gone long and can always accommodate you and your dog’s needs. I share my home with three animals who are very well loved. Haddie is my 7 year old spayed terrier mix, about 22 pounds, and my two cats are Zuzu, a spayed senior, and June, who is 4 years old and also spayed. Each of them has their own dietary and medical needs, so I’m already in the routine of specialized diets and medications. Your dog will fit right into that level of care. Haddie goes out every two to four hours and we walk together every day. There’s also plenty of backyard playtime. The backyard is not currently fenced, but a fence is going up soon. In the meantime I have a post with a long leash line in the yard and keep Haddie on a harness. I am always outside with her when using the leash line and never leave her unattended, and will do the same for your dog. My home is clean, open, and pet friendly. The furniture and beds are fair game for your dog. I do have a dedicated cat room with a gate that only the cats can fit through, so they always have their own safe space. All of my houseplants are pet safe as well. I also live at the end of a dead end street near the cul de sac, so it’s a quiet area with only local traffic and no busy roads nearby.

I never worried about leaving my dogs with him while I was at a very long all day class for three days. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.

About: Growing up with several dogs I learned to appreciate the deep connection that animals provide from an early age. I have years of experience walking dogs (multiples included), boarding dogs at my home for family members and friends, and going on lengthy and level appropriate hikes with dogs. I love creating a welcoming environment for pets to have a comfortable experience away from their humans. :) I am available all mornings until 8:30 am for your early pet walking needs, and can board dogs at my home at any time during the week or weekends. I get off work in the afternoon and can provide playtime, feeding, and exercise around Asheville and specifically in the large city park next to my home. I am very comfortable crating dogs if requested. I do believe it creates a comfortable environment for them, but it is not required for them to stay with me. I do not have a fenced yard and they will be walked on a leash using the harness/leash requested and provided by the owner.

About: Hello! I‘m Rachel, by day I’m the Packaging Quality Specialist at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, but by morning and night I’m taking care of your pets! I have two dogs and two cats at home, and I have helped tend to the river otters, raptors, and amphibians at the WNC Nature Center, so if you have it as a pet, chances are I can tend to it. I feel comfortable administering medication, and am more than happy to prepare special meals for animals with specific diets. I go the extra mile for any animal in need, and will ensure that you are comfortable leaving your furry (or scaly) companion under my watch! I work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. I’m able to walk and feed your animal before work, and after I get off as they need! If you live within five miles of Sierra Nevada I can pop over in the middle of the day as well. I cannot do at home stays in my house due to my cats being stressed out by new animals, but I’m able to be available for your animal in your home in whatever way they need!

Whether your pet is energetic and playful, anxious, senior, or needs specialized care, I always strive to make them feel loved, calm, and right at home. I also own a small handmade pet accessory business, Lumber Puppies. You may have seen me at local art and maker markets throughout the years! Being involved in the pet community has only strengthened my belief that our animals deserve thoughtful, personalized care and lots of affection. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like one of my own, with plenty of love, attention, belly rubs, playtime, and patience. About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
