“Neil watched over our 2 pups on super last minute notice. So appreciative of that and he provided excellent care. He sent us updated pictures and videos and even took our pups on a nearby hike.. Neil is so kind and warm hearted. Got to meet him in advance and he welcomed us back home before he ended his sit. Our home was in great shape upon our arrival. Will be keeping in touch with Neil for future sits.”

“I know Levon works mostly with dogs and I was very happy he was available on short notice (I had another rover sitter cancel within a week of my trip) to watch my sweet Anna. She can be shy and she was comfortable with Levon and he was able to give her the medication she needs. He was responsive and kept me updated. I would book with him again!”

“Susan was amazing! This was the first time leaving our dogs with someone so we were of course nervous but she was great with them. She sent daily updates and pictures and communicated well with us. She kept the house clean and even did some things that weren’t expected from her like washing the sheets on the bed! The dogs were both happy and well taken care of when we returned. I would definitely recommend Susan!”

“Megan did an extraordinarily beautiful job kitty sitting with Rosie. She was there for Rosie in all the most important ways, giving her truely undivided attention. She gave Rosie whole assurance that she was completely there for her, taking care and overseeing all her needs as well as being truly a faithful companion and a dear playful friend which she needed. Megan has a special intelligence and truely a deep for working with animals. She brought constancy in the way she followed through with everything she did for Rosie. I would most highly recommend her as a kitty sitter Megan brought an invaluable intelligence to the job. She brought invaluable skills to the job with a deep understanding for Rosie’s needs.”

I was mostly afraid to leave my German Shepherd, as he can be so energetic and sneaky, but she took him on long walks and played with him. She updated us with photos and summarized how their day went. Our house was just as we left it. Thanks Blair!”

“Mallory was amazing! She helped us out with a very last minute request. Lilly is normally standoffish warmed up to her right away. She sent us updates and pictures. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I work in downtown Asheville from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I can house sit outside of my work shift. I have been caring for pets since childhood. I enjoy caring for dogs the most, but I do well with cats. I also have several years of experience caring for and working with horses. I have cared for dogs and cats of all ages. I care deeply about keeping pets and their environments clean. I have extensive experience cleaning dog crates after accidents, changing out bedding, picking up dog poop in the yard, and bathing dogs after playing in the mud outside. With cats, I can clean out litter boxes, vacuum the floor around them, or even clean up cat accidents on carpet or furniture. I have also bathed cats in the most desperate situations when needed. Though I am not a professional trainer or veterinarian, I have dog training experience and can provide senior pet care. I work in downtown Asheville from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. I can house sit outside of my work shift. Please be aware of this and take it into consideration. I can follow special request if needed. Pets are family and will be treated as such. I am always open to cuddling with your pet too.

About: Ever since I was a little kid I fell in love with every animal I met. Starting in high school I began watching pets for neighbors, family and friends. I have lived in the Asheville area now since 2017 and have spent time pet sitting many dogs, cats and chickens. I am open to watching all pets and look forward to meeting them! I am a self-employed ceramic artist so my schedule can be very flexible to house sitting, dog walking, etc. Please reach out and I will try to accommodate any schedule you need! I have reliable transportation and am happy to come take care of your animals in your home. I have a Subaru Outback and can easily put your dog in the car to go to a park or walking trail. I do not watch pets at my own home. I currently live in an apartment building with restricted animal rules and have my own cat who is older and does not want to be around other animals.

“Kara was very attentive to our pets’ routine and highly communicative with me throughout her stay. She has been wonderful and we will absolutely be booking again!”

About: I have been Petsitting for 12 years. I used to specialize in overnights until I got my own fur babies a few years ago. Now I am at your service for visits (1-3 per day) or overnights. I have 9 years experience working in veterinary hospitals. I am a second grade teacher in the BCS district, so my summers are wide open for pet care! During the school year, pet care would be on a different schedule, but we can absolutely work something out! Whatever is needed, I am sure we can work something out. I typically like to meet you and your pets to go over their routine, but if you prefer to leave notes that is even easier. I like to send updates as often as the pet owner prefers (I.e. pics of your cute little fur babies having the time of their lives).

About: My name is Brady, and I’ve been taking care of dogs and kids in my community for around 4 years; I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, cats, and other smaller pets. I have clients who I’ve sat for many times over the years, for days or weeks; and I can handle some of the grosser situations I can stay at the house with the pet or check on them as often as needed, all days of the week. I have more than enough time on my hands to spend with the animals if needed too! My dogs at my parents house get walked daily, and they’re checked on regularly. I try to do as many normal feeding procedures as possible.

“Shakara was amazing. She cared for a dog like she was her own, giving lots of love and snuggles. She sent us daily updates and photos and was just kind and lovely to work with. We are so grateful we found her!”
