Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to provide boarding at my residence due to my apartment’s restrictions. I am happy to visit your fur babies at your home for walks and house sitting. I have had extensive training through my jobs on how to safely walk and interact with dogs. I am also trained on interacting with cats (even the spicy ones) and have two myself.
Information Anna M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of any behavioral quirks your pet has that I should be aware of and we can work out a plan! I am very comfortable working with pets who may have more intense behavioral needs. If your pet is on medications that will need to be administered during my visit, make sure to message me the dosing information.
A typical day
I love letting dogs get their energy out, so your furry friend will be tuckered by the end of my visit. I can take them on walks/jogs but I stay away from dog parks for safety reasons. For cats, I interact with them as much as they allow. I will play with their favorite toys to their hearts content or we can just chill in each other's company. I won't force any unwanted affection on the more aloof cats.

Pet care experience
Hello pet parents, I'm Anna! I have been working professionally with pets for the past 6 years. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have interned at multiple animal shelters. My most recent job was as an Animal Care Specialist at the SPCA of Wake County, a nonprofit animal rescue. With my time as a veterinary assistant, I am comfortable giving medications of any kind, including insulin, and taking care of seniors. I am very adept at reading canine and feline body language and will strive to make your animal's experience as stress free as possible!

Reviews
Anna was really great with our very neurotic Shih Tzu, Hudson, these last couple of days and he really enjoyed spending time with them. I highly recommend

Anna was great with my dog Bruno. She was nice enough to send me pictures and updates. She was very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend!

Anna was a natural with our Thora! She sent me lots of photos and little updates throughout her stay, and was very respectful and tidy in our home. We immediately felt comfortable with her at our meet and greet, and wouldn’t hesitate to have her back! Anna is a communicative, considerate, and compassionate sitter.

Anna took care of my dog while I was traveling out of state, and I couldn't be more pleased with her services. She was incredibly attentive and caring, ensuring my dog was well-fed, played with, and walked regularly. Anna's genuine dedication and affection for animals were evident. I returned to a happy and healthy dog, and I am extremely grateful for her exceptional care. I highly recommend Anna to anyone in need of a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!
