Hello pet parents, I'm Anna! I have been working professionally with pets for the past 6 years. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have interned at multiple animal shelters. My most recent job was as an Animal Care Specialist at the SPCA of Wake County, a nonprofit animal rescue. With my time as a veterinary assistant, I am comfortable giving medications of any kind, including insulin, and taking care of seniors. I am very adept at reading canine and feline body language and will strive to make your animal's experience as stress free as possible!

Anna was perfect. She cared lovingly for our guy and kept in close contact throughout her stay. The house looked neat and tidy upon our return and our pup was happy and well fed.
We are very excited to have Anna stay with our dog. We have had two walks to introduce them and Nile is already very excited to see her. We think its going to be a great weekend.

Schedule
This summer I have an open/flexible schedule. When my nursing school starts in the fall, my schedule will be more limited. I update my availability on a regular basis.

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to provide boarding at my residence due to my apartment’s restrictions. I am happy to visit your fur babies at your home for walks and house sitting. I have had extensive training through my jobs on how to safely walk and interact with dogs. I am also trained on interacting with cats (even the spicy ones) and have two myself.
Pets
A typical day
I love letting dogs get their energy out, so your furry friend will be tuckered by the end of my visit. I can take them on walks/jogs but I stay away from dog parks for safety reasons. For cats, I interact with them as much as they allow. I will play with their favorite toys to their hearts content or we can just chill in each other's company. I won't force any unwanted affection on the more aloof cats.
