“I highly recommend Caroline! From the moment we met, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their needs. Caroline kept us updated throughout our time away, sending us regular photos and messages about our furbabies. This not only eased our minds but also showed us how much they were enjoying their time together. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, look no further than Caroline. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“Every time I pick up our dogs they are so happy. It’s really reassuring to know the people taking care of them love them as much as we do. 100% recommend Megan for the peace of mind!”

“It had been a couple years since Gus stayed with Jeremy and Katie, and I’m so glad they are still boarding! Gus always has a great stay with them, and they do an awesome job with communication and photo updates!”

“Richard was watching my puppy when hurricane Helene hit. Despite the chaos and crisis he stayed in communication as best he could and kept her safe the entire time I was gone. Words can’t express my gratitude. Aside from that, he was very accommodating of her puppy needs and took great care of her.”

“Toni is fantastic. She went over and above to make sure that our senior dog had the best care - giving her meds and lots of extra snuggles. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout our time away. We highly recommend Toni!”
“Sarah was extremely easy to work with and Jasper had a great time with her dog Jimmy and her family. Communication was excellent and Jasper loved his time at her home!”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“If you want to leave your furry friend(s) with folks that will treat him/her/them like one of the family reach out to Ann & Jaren! This was our first time ever boarding our dog, Opal. The experience could not have gone better. The initial meeting with Jaren, drop off, communication during the week, and pick up was AMAZING! We received pictures and videos of her playing and being cuddled. We could tell Opal was having a blast with her new friends, which allowed us to relax with no worries. We will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“I’d give Vicky 10 stars if I could. Lucy loved her time with Vicky and I felt at ease knowing she was being well loved. Vicky sent us multiple videos of Lucy, which made our time apart much more comforting. Many thanks to you, Vicky”

“Our dog Sam was well taking care of with Giuliana. Sam is a high energy hound and Giuliana made sure he had outside play time multiple times a day with plenty of video and picture updates. He also got along great with her 2 other dogs. Would highly recommend Giuliana.”

“I cannot say enough nice things about Connie and Ron. This was a first time sit for our girls. Our doodle is a little nervous around new people but she adjusted quickly into their home. Connie and Ron’s warm and caring demeanors kept me feeling comfortable that our girls were being taken good care of while we were out of town. We have already booked with them for another weekend!”

“We couldn’t be happier to have found Alyssa and Bryan to love on our two doodle boys while we were away! From the moment they arrived, our pups were showered with so much care and affection. Daily hikes, endless ball throwing, and constant cuddles. Alyssa sent the best photo updates throughout their stay, which completely put us at ease and showed just how much fun our boys were having. When it was time to come home, our pups were actually sad to leave! The energy in their home and on their beautiful property is warm and welcoming, and Alyssa and Bryan are simply the most wonderful, loving people. We feel so lucky to have them to watch our boys!”

I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

About: My friends tell me I treat their pets like my own when I watch them! People have told me that they appreciate that I pay attention to details and send lots of updates. I have an elderly dog myself with special needs, have taken dog training classes and genuinely love animals! I am excited to learn about what care your dog needs and help them feel safe and cared for! I can do recurring drop ins once we have had our first sitting to make sure it’s a good fit! I have my calendar blocked off Tuesdays and Thursdays but feel free to reach out about one-offs! I work remotely, so I’d like to make myself available to help you out during the day with quick drop ins, short walks and potty breaks! My currently availability says the morning but I do have some availability in the afternoons at times. My dog is trained with positive reinforcement based methods. She is an older dog with medication requirements and I understand the extra care and play restrictions they can have! Whether it’s creating a quick interactive puzzle game or playing gently in the backyard, happy to help your dog get some attention during the day!

“This is who you want to hire! When you come home from vacation and your kitties are calm and relaxed - that's all you really want. You know they were well taken care of. Thank you, Sherrie! We appreciate you. Until next time!”

“Erin is absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our cat and kept us informed daily while we were away. We really appreciated the level of care and kindness to our little one.”

“Elizabeth took great care of our cats while we were away. While they’re too shy for socializing, she ensured that their food, water, and litter boxes were maintained. We would recommend Elizabeth and schedule with her again!”

“Caitlin was great! Very very thorough in care for our two cats, both with their own unique needs. Also very communicative throughout the whole week and the few days after, although perhaps a wee bit too much. Loved all of the photos of the cats we received. They seemed very happy when we came home, so I know they were well taken care of! Would definitely recommend Caitlin for other cat parents :)”

“Cera is amazing! She is kind, very responsive, and flexible. My mind was at ease knowing my cat was in the best hands while I was gone. She kept me updated with lots of adorable pictures and was happy to accommodate a couple other household tasks I asked her to do. I’m so glad to have found her and look forward to using her services in the future.”

“James was super easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to messages. I felt very comfortable having him watch over our cat, and knew she was in good hands. Would recommend :)”

“Our cats Trek and Flash seemed happy and healthy when we got home - what more could pet parents want. Alex played with them during each visit (evidenced by photos) which we appreciate so they were not bored, fed them, scooped litter, kept their water fountains full. We would definitely book with Alex again as the need arises.”

“Thomas was AMAZING with our two kitties! He kept us updated and sent the funniest, cutest pics! Thomas is very professional, kind, and an expert with animals. He made the entire process easy and I felt lessed stress knowing our babies were in his care. I think our cats like him better than us! 😂”

“Tiffany watched our senior cat recently for 5 days. She was dependable and communicated well with us during the time we were gone. Above all she took great care of our boy and gave him lots of love and attention. We will absolutely ask Tiffany to watch him again next time we travel.”

“I am so happy we booked with Sarah! Not only was she timely and responsible, but she was a great fit for Piper! She sent several pictures during each visit and gave a thorough update every time. It was clear she spent lots of time time playing with Piper - she didn’t just feed her and leave. She also watered some of our plants. We are so thankful for Sarah and plan to book with her again!”

“Liliana provided Gus, my 17 year old male classic cat, a loving and welcome home over the Thanksgiving holiday. A real homebody, Gus was reluctant to socialize but Liliana continued to work with him and won him over! The videos she sent of him purring as she petted him were heartwarming... we will be back! Thank you, Liliana!”

“Sydney took care of our snake while we were out of town. She went above and beyond by watering plants and bringing in packages too. Excellent communication, we will absolutely reach out to book her again.”

“Alyssa was absolutely amazing with my pup, Biggie! She took care of him while my family and I went to the Biltmore and out to dinner, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. She sent so many pictures and videos throughout the time he was with her, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured. She was incredibly accommodating, and it was clear from the moment we picked him up that he had the best time! Biggie went straight to sleep when we got home, which tells me he was happy, loved, and well played with. Alyssa and her family treated Biggie like one of their own, and it truly meant so much to me. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and loving sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again whenever we visit!!”
“We were from out of town , camping, and visiting Biltmore. We needed someone to watch our standard Poodle for the day. We booked with Kinsey and it couldn’t have been better. We had issues with our camper and had to reschedule. She was so understanding. We did a pre visit and our boy fell in love! We were able to drop him off and feel so confident that he would have a wonderful day! Will definitely use again if in the area.”

“Stephanie was very sweet and patient with my baby and I am so appreciative. She sent me updates throughout the day which I enjoyed. She was accommodating to my hectic schedule.”

About: Hi! My names Elli, I've been a dog mom for many years now and love my fur babies. I've spent some time doing service dog training years ago so I have a good understanding of dogs and the way they function and learn. I will ensure your pet is well taken care of and has plenty of fun whether I'm walking them, checking on them, or keeping them company while you are away! No dog is too big or small for me to handle and with several great dog parks and walking trails in my area there is always something for us to do. I will follow all guidelines owners have set for me, and can be trusted to maintain their home and pets safety during my stays with them or when staying with me. Thanks for reading my "About Me", I hope it answers any questions you may have and puts minds at ease! I am a stay at home mom at the moment. My daughter attends school during the weekdays from 8 am - 4 pm, so I spend my days home with our animals and doing online school! While in my home I will ensure your pup is well cared for with all needs met. In the morning we would have a prompt potty break followed by breakfast and would would go on at least 2 walks during the day. I will follow your desired schedule for eating and rest so please feel free to let me know any needs! I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run and play! When inside my two pups roam the house and enjoy relaxing on the couch in the sun.

About: As a remote Registered Nurse (RN), I bring a clinical eye to pet care. I notice subtle changes in behavior or health that others might miss. I’m comfortable administering medications in any form, from pills to inhalers, and my own pets are on daily medication routines so it’s second nature. My background in farming gave me hands-on experience with animal health and handling, and I’ve worked with my own dogs on training from puppyhood. I’m home all day, every day, so your dog gets constant attention and care, not just a place to play and sleep. I work from home Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time in the mornings, evenings, and throughout the day. I have lots of time for walks, potty breaks, and playtime, and my job allows me to step away whenever your pup needs attention. I can work from my office or the couch, wherever your dog is most comfortable. On my days off I tend to stay close to home, and if I do need to run an errand I won’t be gone long and can always accommodate you and your dog’s needs. I share my home with three animals who are very well loved. Haddie is my 7 year old spayed terrier mix, about 22 pounds, and my two cats are Zuzu, a spayed senior, and June, who is 4 years old and also spayed. Each of them has their own dietary and medical needs, so I’m already in the routine of specialized diets and medications. Your dog will fit right into that level of care. Haddie goes out every two to four hours and we walk together every day. There’s also plenty of backyard playtime. The backyard is not currently fenced, but a fence is going up soon. In the meantime I have a post with a long leash line in the yard and keep Haddie on a harness. I am always outside with her when using the leash line and never leave her unattended, and will do the same for your dog. My home is clean, open, and pet friendly. The furniture and beds are fair game for your dog. I do have a dedicated cat room with a gate that only the cats can fit through, so they always have their own safe space. All of my houseplants are pet safe as well. I also live at the end of a dead end street near the cul de sac, so it’s a quiet area with only local traffic and no busy roads nearby.

“Nate took great care of our two dogs while we toured the Biltmore House. His place is very dog-friendly with a fenced yard and access to the house and yard. Thanks, Nate, from both of our boys.”

“Janet was absolutely amazing with my dog Boden! He sometimes struggles with separation anxiety, but Janet was able to make him feel so comfortable that he was actually excited to go back to her house for daycare after just one day! Not only did she take great care of him, but she was also fantastic at communicating with me throughout the day, keeping me updated on how Boden was doing. She took him on walks and even to the dog park, which he absolutely loved! Plus, he had the best time playing with her dogs too! I cannot recommend Janet enough - she is truly a wonderful dog caregiver.”

“Liessy, my mini-Schnauzer has serious separation anxiety. Miranda got down on the ground with Liessy and gave her a few treats and Liessy went along with this very well. While I was away, Miranda sent several photos showing my pup playing and getting along with a Golden Retriever. She's normally a bit leery of large dogs. Miranda knows how to make the newcomer comfortable. I'll definitely use her again when I'm in the Asheville area.”

About: As someone who grew up always having dogs, I came to appreciate their companionship and playfulness and how they are family. My friends' dogs are often intuitively drawn to me. Whether you are a local needing a date night or a visitor exploring our mountains and breweries, I’m here to ensure your pup has a vacation just as exciting as yours. My goal is to be the 'fun uncle' who spoils them with affection, safe adventures, and all the belly rubs they can handle. About: I cared for family dogs, cats & horses through childhood & my 20s. Here in Asheville, I've had two dogs (one at a time) for 13 years. I am attuned to safety & health first; then I focus on play/walking to provide fun & exercise for emotional, mental & physical stimulation. In addition to having food, water, shelter & a comfortable temperature, all pets need to feel safe, loved & respected. I am gentle, thorough, attentive, & caring, & I follow all instructions carefully. I have worked with puppies through senior dogs as well as my flighty, 52-lb. 6-yr-old reactive Pit Bull/Cane Corso rescue, whom I walk daily & hike with weekly. I've used the Behavior Adjustment & Doggy Dan training systems with this sweet companion, who had been abused & neglected before I adopted her at 14 months. I have done drop-in visits for friends for 10 yrs. & can give medications orally, in ears & as injections. Before a first service, I do a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend & learn about how your canine relates to people, other dogs, cats, squirrels & rabbits. Activiies include playing fetch, tug of war, food puzzles & your pup's favorites. I'm available for drop-ins and dog walking between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Also I'm free between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. I am a fulltime pet care giver. At this time, I do not stay overnight with pets in my home or my clients' homes. Instead, I do 30-minute drop-in visits and 30-minute walks in clients' neighborhoods.
About: I am a recent high school graduate looking to care for your pets! Within the last year I have consistently cared for 5 pets and have 2 of my own. When caring for pets I spend genuine time with them to give them a good experience so they continue to feel safe and loved while you are away. I have cared for rescue dogs and have a rescue dog of my own so I understand many pets have special needs and I am willing to provide them. It is important to me that you and your pet feel confident in their care so you may both be worry free. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting and caring for your lovely animals !
“Pam is a great dog walker. She is very warm and had an instant rapport with my shy rescue dog. She communicates well, is flexible, confident, and reliable. I highly recommend her and hope that we'll have her again.”
“Kyle did a great job with Patches. He was very responsive and took lots of pictures of Patches. He helped feed and walk her while I was out of town. He did a great job keeping Patches calm and making sure she got lots of walks. I would highly recommend.”

About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I've been in the veterinary field for 10+ years and have always had pets growing up. I'm a licensed veterinary medical technician and have experience in General Practice, Emergency/ICU, Exotics, and Research. I'm a single mom with an 8 year old daughter, 2 dogs, and 3 cats at home. I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule for your pets both for their mental and physical health. I love building relationships with different animals and I can't wait to meet yours! I currently work full-time as a vet tech, but am able to do drop-ins before and after my shifts. I'm also available for more drop-ins during the weekend. My goal is for you and your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. I understand having someone come into your house can be stressful for both yourself and your pets. Communication is key and knowing what to expect can make this process go smoothly. Also, patience and taking it slow can help calm a pet's anxiety which is always my goal. Once your pet is comfortable with me, basic care such as feeding, taking outside, giving medications, etc. is just the minimum. The human-animal bond is important and playing with them and spending time with them only increases that bond. Whether your pet enjoys playing fetch, frisbee, or whatever, those things are great for your pet.
About: I am very good with anxious dogs especially during storms. I love playing with dogs and taking them on walks. I have been watching dogs and cats for years now and am dependable. I am currently a full time student in college but I often have time off on weekends to take care of pets. I also have time in between classes to walk or check in with pets. I spend lots of time outside and go on walks regularly and I’d love to bring pets along with me. I also can spend time with them in the clients home if that’s where they are more comfortable.

About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
“Toby had a great weekend with Ali and Penny. Ali took great care of him, gave frequent updates, and went above and beyond in her flexibility and taking care of our boy. Will definitely be asking her to watch Toby again next time I need a sitter.”

“Laird was great for our 1.5 year golden. We were from out of town but wanted to bring our pup with for some hiking but he couldn’t stay in the hotel. Laird was flexible as we want to pick him up for a hike and drop him back off the same day!”
“I was so happy with Jessica & John they took amazing care of my dog Makeda for the weekend. Even their two daughters treated her with gentle love and lots of snuggles. They were incredibly responsive, sent regular updates with photos, and treated my dog like one of their own. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter! Thank you”

“Daniella and her family are amazing people. Our dogs were well cared for and it was so nice not having to worry about them. We will definitely continue using them for our dogs.”

“Golda and her husband were great hosts for our dog Ringo. Ringo usually gets a little nervious staying away from us but it was clear when we picked him up that he was very comfortable with their family, children and a few other dogs in the big fenced yard to play in. We will definitely use Golda again!”

“Carlina did a great job with our dog, Maddy. She checked in and sent pics. I really appreciated that it was just our dog and Carolina’s dog there - I think too many make it a stressful stay. Maddy said she was a 10/10, bed and treats were great.”

“Miranda was amazing with August. She took great care of him and kept us notified of how he doing throughout his stay. She was great to work with and we’ll be back soon!”

“Stephanie stands apart from so many other dog sitters. She has genuine love for dogs, their safety and well-being. She has watched my dog (Toast) for daycare and boarding. If you haven't used Rover, I recommend her services.”

“Nola had a great vacation with Katie, Preston, and their furry family. She was loved and cared for and even had a bath! I will definitely book a stay for Nola with this wonderful family again.”
