About: My friends tell me I treat their pets like my own when I watch them! People have told me that they appreciate that I pay attention to details and send lots of updates. I have an elderly dog myself with special needs, have taken dog training classes and genuinely love animals! I am excited to learn about what care your dog needs and help them feel safe and cared for! I work remotely, so I’d like to make myself available to help you out during the day with quick drop ins, short walks and potty breaks! My currently availability says the morning but I do have some availability in the afternoons at times. My dog is trained with positive reinforcement based methods. She is an older dog with medication requirements and I understand the extra care and play restrictions they can have! Whether it’s creating a quick interactive puzzle game or playing gently in the backyard, happy to help your dog get some attention during the day!

About: My name is Brady, and I’ve been taking care of dogs and kids in my community for around 4 years; I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, cats, and other smaller pets. I have clients who I’ve sat for many times over the years, for days or weeks; and I can handle some of the grosser situations I work part-time (Sat/Sun: 3pm-11:30pm) and go to school part-time, so I could spend the late evenings and nights with your pets! I also have breaks during the day where I have time to check on pets, so that they’re not alone all day. My dogs at my parents house get walked daily, and they’re checked on regularly. I try to do as many normal feeding procedures as possible.

About: As a child I was always the person that was bringing home the lost and injured animals I came across. Not much has changed as an adult. I worked with a pet rescue for over a decade, unfortunately the rescue was dissolved but my love for animals has not faded. I have experience with many different species of pets, ranging in age from newborn and needing to be fed every 2 hours to senior animals that need extra care and patience. I am experienced in giving medicine, and providing all the love and attention your fur babies deserve. I am currently in a career transition and taking classes part time at a local college so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and make sure they have as much love as possible. I am very diligent in making sure all of your requests are followed to the letter. I personally have a dog that needs wiped after she potties to prevent UTIs and it is a deal breaking for me when I can tell a sitter has not followed my instructions. I understand that routine is important and strive to be a few minutes early for every appointment. I also understand that someone other than yourself caring for your beloved furbaby can be stressful for both you and them. I strive to ease as much of that stress for both parents and furchildren as possible. As a pet parent myself who also uses a sitter when I have to be away for any length of time, having that trusted sitter is life saving.

About: I have had pets my whole life and taken care of friends and neighbors pets as well. We have a beloved dog named Marley, a ball python, and 15 chickens. I love animals and can’t wait to meet and get to know yours! My availability is open, so let me know if you need set walking times, or pet sitting, Especially during the week, but also weekends work! I can come to you, to walk your dog, or care for any pets in your home, clean out liter boxes, water plants or check mail.

About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

About: I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. My neighbors call on me as they know how much I love their pets as my own. I have experience with training and had an Australian Labradoodle as well as cat. I am not quite ready to get a new dog but would love to spend time with some furry friends with my current flexibility! I work from home, my husband works a lot and my 16 year old is busy being a teenager. I’m very flexible and can do doggy walks, overnights stays and even host dogs at my house. I have no current pets. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for walking dogs! Working from home allows plenty of time for extra snuggles and playing.

About: Hello pet parents, I'm Anna! I have been working professionally with pets for the past 6 years. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and have interned at multiple animal shelters. My most recent job was as an Animal Care Specialist at the SPCA of Wake County, a nonprofit animal rescue. With my time as a veterinary assistant, I am comfortable giving medications of any kind, including insulin, and taking care of seniors. I am very adept at reading canine and feline body language and will strive to make your animal's experience as stress free as possible! This summer I have an open/flexible schedule. When my nursing school starts in the fall, my schedule will be more limited. I update my availability on a regular basis. I am unable to provide boarding at my residence due to my apartment’s restrictions. I am happy to visit your fur babies at your home for walks and house sitting. I have had extensive training through my jobs on how to safely walk and interact with dogs. I am also trained on interacting with cats (even the spicy ones) and have two myself.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I've been in the veterinary field for 10+ years and have always had pets growing up. I'm a licensed veterinary medical technician and have experience in General Practice, Emergency/ICU, Exotics, and Research. I'm a single mom with an 8 year old daughter, 2 dogs, and 3 cats at home. I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule for your pets both for their mental and physical health. I love building relationships with different animals and I can't wait to meet yours! I currently work full-time as a vet tech, but am able to do drop-ins before and after my shifts. I'm also available for more drop-ins during the weekend. My goal is for you and your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. I understand having someone come into your house can be stressful for both yourself and your pets. Communication is key and knowing what to expect can make this process go smoothly. Also, patience and taking it slow can help calm a pet's anxiety which is always my goal. Once your pet is comfortable with me, basic care such as feeding, taking outside, giving medications, etc. is just the minimum. The human-animal bond is important and playing with them and spending time with them only increases that bond. Whether your pet enjoys playing fetch, frisbee, or whatever, those things are great for your pet.

About: I am a recent high school graduate looking to care for your pets! Within the last year I have consistently cared for 5 pets and have 2 of my own. When caring for pets I spend genuine time with them to give them a good experience so they continue to feel safe and loved while you are away. I have cared for rescue dogs and have a rescue dog of my own so I understand many pets have special needs and I am willing to provide them.
