I do not work on the weekends and only see one client via telehealth on Wednesday, so I have lots of flexibility and time for walks. About: Almost 20 years experience caring for cats, dogs and rodents with special care of elderly and medically fragile pets. I have pet sat all over the USA through trusted house sitters app and can’t wait to be spending regular time caring for animals again. I have experience training my own cat to do tricks, wear a harness, and go on walks. I’m currently a student at App State and spend time in both Black Mountain with my wife and in Boone for school. I have a flexible schedule during the weekdays and weekends open availability. I love going on walks and runs daily and leash trained my cat to go with me sometimes. I will also be available holidays and have more time during school semester breaks. I only care for pets in their own home due to wanting to keep a stable environment for my own cat. About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

About: As a former alpaca and goat farmer with over 16 years of experience, I thoroughly enjoy caring for animals. About: I’ve had and cared for dogs and cats my entire life. My neighbors call on me as they know how much I love their pets as my own. I have experience with training and had an Australian Labradoodle as well as cat. I am not quite ready to get a new dog but would love to spend time with some furry friends with my current flexibility! I work from home, my husband works a lot and my 16 year old is busy being a teenager. I’m very flexible and can do doggy walks, overnights stays and even host dogs at my house. I have no current pets. I have a fenced in yard and a great neighborhood for walking dogs! Working from home allows plenty of time for extra snuggles and playing.

About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

About: I am very good with anxious dogs especially during storms. I love playing with dogs and taking them on walks. I have been watching dogs and cats for years now and am dependable. I am currently a full time student in college but I often have time off on weekends to take care of pets. I also have time in between classes to walk or check in with pets. I spend lots of time outside and go on walks regularly and I’d love to bring pets along with me. I also can spend time with them in the clients home if that’s where they are more comfortable.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I've been in the veterinary field for 10+ years and have always had pets growing up. I'm a licensed veterinary medical technician and have experience in General Practice, Emergency/ICU, Exotics, and Research. I'm a single mom with an 8 year old daughter, 2 dogs, and 3 cats at home. I understand the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule for your pets both for their mental and physical health. I love building relationships with different animals and I can't wait to meet yours! I currently work full-time as a vet tech, but am able to do drop-ins before and after my shifts. I'm also available for more drop-ins during the weekend. My goal is for you and your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. I understand having someone come into your house can be stressful for both yourself and your pets. Communication is key and knowing what to expect can make this process go smoothly. Also, patience and taking it slow can help calm a pet's anxiety which is always my goal. Once your pet is comfortable with me, basic care such as feeding, taking outside, giving medications, etc. is just the minimum. The human-animal bond is important and playing with them and spending time with them only increases that bond. Whether your pet enjoys playing fetch, frisbee, or whatever, those things are great for your pet.

About: I am a recent high school graduate looking to care for your pets! Within the last year I have consistently cared for 5 pets and have 2 of my own. When caring for pets I spend genuine time with them to give them a good experience so they continue to feel safe and loved while you are away. I have cared for rescue dogs and have a rescue dog of my own so I understand many pets have special needs and I am willing to provide them.
