Alison T.
“Alison is the only person we'll trust with our fur-babies. If she's not available, we change our travel dates. Our cats are our only babies, and we didn't travel for years because we couldn't find someone who we trusted enough to leave them with for an extended period. Then we met Alison, and that all changed. She's absolutely amazing - prompt, communicative, and best of all, our cats absolutely love her. She doesn't just pop in, feed them, and leave; she spends time with them, plays with them, and loves on them. In fact, I think they love her almost as much as they love us at this point! Even our most skittish cat, Pippa, comes running when she hears her. We trust Alison so much that we welcome her to spend as much time hanging out in the house as she wants, just to keep them company, and we're always glad when she takes us up on the offer. When we spent a month in France, she sent us photos and updates regularly, and we felt certain that our little ones were in the best possible hands. I could go on, but I'll leave it at this: if you need a sitter, I cannot recommend Alison highly enough. She'll exceed your expectations.”

Larry P.

“Larry is always a reliable and caring sitter. Our dog Jack loves Larry and we are confident and comfortable leaving our dog and our home in his care.”

Katie N.

“This was my first booking with Katie and it was great. She is very responsive via messaging, always on time for meet and greet and scheduled walks. It was great to have the Rover cards to see what adventures she took Jolli on. And she immediately sends a write up and pictures after every walk which I very much appreciated. I felt very relieved to have her give Jolli a daily walk while I was away. Thank you for taking such good care of Jolli!”

Dorothy G.

“ThTs so much! You made a very long day much less stressful!”

Lilley E.

“Lilley walked our dog Sophie while we were visiting Asheville and spending a long day at the Biltmore. She was extremely responsive, super easy to communicate with and sent pics of Sophie on their walk together. Sophie and she was SUPER happy upon our return home that evening, and I credit her time with Lilley for that! I would not hesitate to book Lilley again - thanks Lilley!”

Kaylee S.
“Kaylee is a hardworking and responsible individual who has a love for both dogs and cats. She is very attentive when it comes to caring for my two cats. Kaylee is always on top of feedings, and scooping the litterbox. She is constantly sending photos and updating me on any issues. She is my go-to caregiver when I am out of town. I couldn't have better things to say about her!”

Nicolette U.

“Nicolette was great! She was super responsive and sent a bunch of pictures during her time with my pup. This was my first time using something like Rover to help with my pup and she made me feel very comfortable about having someone outside of my friends/family watch my dog. Will definitely be turning to her for help again!”

Brittney C.
“Brittney C. Is a caring and compassionate person. She has a love for animals and will provide your pets with the same care she gives her own fur baby. I have seen firsthand the way she treats animals and loves them. She cuddles and soothes them and makes them comfortable in in stressful situations. She will provide your baby with the care they deserve while you away from them. You will have peace of mind knowing Britney is caring for your baby while your away.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since a young age. I’ve had cats my entire life and have had dogs for the last 5 years. Growing up, neighbors and friends would rely on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets. I have a very flexible job and am able to fit in walks or drop ins throughout the day, after 5pm I am fully available for any needs. I am available to pet sit during the weekends (Friday-Sunday). I also have a dog of my own that I that I take out about every two hours. I have a spacious apartment with a dog park. I also have a dog of my own that would love some playmates. If needed, I am able to crate your dog, but I try very hard to limit crate time.

About: I was a foster parent for Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico for three years. I have special experience with pregnant dogs and cats, newborns, and I have a big soft spot for senior pets. I am currently a foster provider with Asheville Animal Humane. My style is very gentle and affectionate, though I am also very clear with boundaries. I am an avid hiker and walker, so your babies will get plenty of exercise! I am a retired childbirth educator, doula, and Hypnotherapist. I am blessed to have my days to myself and am home all day except for errands and hikes. We have been in Asheville for one year and my schedule is wide open. Lana, my partner, works full time from home. We have a fenced yard and our two little 5 year old poodle mixes are used to welcoming and entertaining new furry friends, since they have "fostered" many dogs over the years.

About: Our Story: While teaching in Belize I lived in a hostel next to an animal shelter. Everyday after work I would take a dog for a walk. This shelter is where I met my 2 year old collie mix named Asami. From day one we have been inseparable. Interests: Asami and I love hiking and often go for walks on the Warren Wilson trials near my house. If your dog likes dog parks I live near Azalea Road Dog Park and would be happy to take your pup there. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the house. Hardwood floors and pet friendly furniture. Please Bring: - Food - Food bowl - Crate or bed No need to bring toys or treats. We have tons! Asami and I can't wait to meet you! I am a part-time student. My fiance, Jake, is a musician that works at night. The few hours of the day that I am unable to be home, Jake will be there singing your fur baby sweet tunes. I have a fenced yard and constantly monitor pups while they are outside. We do have chickens in the backyard, but they are fenced in and we have never had an issue while dog sitting.

About: With a lifelong affinity for animals, my journey in pet care began with an unusual companion - a pet raccoon - during my childhood. Since then, my life has been graced by the presence of numerous cats and dogs, each leaving their own special mark. Presently, my cherished companion is Balsam, a lively 5-year-old Border Collie. Last winter, I took on the responsibility of boarding and caring for a diverse pack of 20 dogs in my former home in Marion, NC. Currently residing in Swannanoa, NC, my partner and I have the privilege of calling a spacious 3-acre property our own. Among our circle of friends, we're the trusted go-to whenever pet sitting is needed. Our devotion to animals runs deep, and we are eager to extend the warmth of our home to your beloved furry companions. Rest assured, in our care, they will be treated with the same love and attention as if they were our very own. As a small business owner and yoga teacher, I'm fortunate to have a highly flexible schedule. This, combined with the support of my equally devoted partner, who is also a small business owner, allows us ample time to provide exceptional care for your cherished pets. Our commitment to their well-being is unwavering, ensuring they receive the attention and love they deserve. Nestled in the heart of Swannanoa, our home is a secluded cabin, enveloped by the serene embrace of a lush forest. Towering trees, reaching up to the majestic heights of Grant Mountain, create a picturesque backdrop for our haven. This tranquil environment provides the perfect sanctuary for your furry companions, ensuring they experience a peaceful and harmonious stay.

I got lots of updates and pictures of Benji being spoiled rotten and having fun. I even came home and everything was more clean than I left it. Delia rox and I will most definitely be using her for my next business trip.”
