About: I love all creatures. I personally have 3 of my own(2 dogs/1 cat) and I'm always looking to meet and care for other ppl's creatures when need be. I live near the Asheville airport & work nearby. I work day & evening shifts, which gives me time to visit creature clients. Prefer no overnights, due to my pets, but can swing a night or 2 if needed. Can do early am/late pm visits. I’ll make sure your babies are well taken care of. About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I am a Rover customer as well so I will your dogs just like I would want another Rover sitter to! All dogs are allowed on the couch & bed! I sleep with my 3 crazy sweet dogs. I do have a fenced yard. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

About: Hello! My name is Heather. I am 53 and semi-retired. I drive for Uber to fill some of my time. I have cared for animals all of my life, starting with a farm when I was little. My first dog was named Tandy and my first cat was Tasha. I have been a fur baby mamma, pretty much always, as well as a sitter for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, kittens and senior animals. I recently moved to Asheville and into a place that doesn’t allow pets. I miss having a fur baby, so it would be an honor to care for yours. I have a very open schedule. I drive for Uber part time, and other than that I like to fill my days with hiking, walking, pickleball and yoga. I would love to have a furry friend come along on my adventures! I am unable to bring pets into my rental home. I will travel to your home and stay overnight with your pet, and I will treat both with love, care and respect. I will make sure to follow feeding, potty and walking schedules closely. I will also ask about favorite games and comfort toys and routines. I will send pictures and a recap of the day. I want you, and your pet, to feel comfortable and safe.

About: Expert in ear scratches for critters big and small. I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I love to run, if you’re looking to get exercise for your pup. I also have experience with senior animals that just want to snuggle. I’m available every weekend and work part time during the week. I can work walks or runs in with your pet during the week the week as well. I’d love to check on your pet in the comfort of their home, where all their favorite toys and treats are. About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

I can ensure they are taken outside as needed, play and spend time with them so they aren't so lonely while you're away. I visit homes to care for animals and that is it. Meaning, I will not enter spaces that do not pertain to the animal I am looking after. I do this to ensure your privacy.
