About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and have years of experience caring for them through every stage of life. Today, my wife and I care for our Australian Cattle Dog, Dakota, whom we adopted when she was a year old. Training Dakota has given me valuable experience in understanding canine body language, behavior, and communication. I’ve learned how to recognize signs of stress, excitement, fear, and overstimulation, and how to respond in a calm, positive way to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Kashmir, my Redbone Coonhound puppy who loves other dogs!

About: I have been taking care of other people's animals since middle school and just love getting to know your pets! Experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and fish! Willing to take on pets with medical needs! I work 40 hours over 5 days days a week. I am typically away from the house from 9 am - 5 pm or 11 am - 7 pm. Depending on your location, I may be able to pop back to the house on my short lunch break. I am comfortable walking your animals on leashes, pushing them in strollers, using a treadmill, playing with them in the yard, or whatever else is your routine and preference!

About: I’ve had pets all of my life ranging from cats and dogs to a bearded dragon. I love and care for all animals and will do that for yours as well. As my apartment doesn’t allow pets, currently I don’t own any, but I love to go home and see our family dog Kodi. For Kodi we have a set time for food, walk her when we have free time everyday, and water is available at any time and we have set times in the morning and evening to let her out for the bathroom, while allowing her to go out at other times when needed. I will act according to the owners specific instructions, while doing what I need to do to take care of their pets in the best way possible.

About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
