“KaLynn was exceptional! She was amazing with communication sending multiple sweet pictures daily, texting to communicate whenever necessary, and always accommodating to my needs about the dogs to make me feel confident my girls were being well taken care of. I was genuinely nervous about leaving them for an entire week with someone we had never met, but I instantly felt they were safe and being loved on the moment we dropped off through pick up. My girls lived their best life in KaLynn’s care and we will always book our trips with her in the future!”

“Connie P. and her husband Ron is the best you can find for your baby doggie staycation. Our furry baby didn’t only make some furry friends, but also enjoyed his stay at Connie’s Pups Haven. They are wonderful couple. They went above and beyond in providing Rocky the love, care and attention he needs. I highly recommend Connie and we will definitely use her again.”

“Carlina did a great job with our dog, Maddy. She checked in and sent pics. I really appreciated that it was just our dog and Carolina’s dog there - I think too many make it a stressful stay. Maddy said she was a 10/10, bed and treats were great.”

“Kharen was great! It is obvious she loves dogs and knows how to make your pets not only feel welcome, but a part of her family! She has a great fenced in yard and because it was calling for rain this past weekend, even had a play area set up in her garage complete with indoor/outdoor rug and a large fan and toys for the dogs to keep them entertained! Kharen is very warm & friendly and she made us feel very connected to our pups by sending us many pictures of our dogs over the 3 night stay with her! We will definitely use Kharen again next time we are visiting our friends in Arden, and would not give her anything but a 5 star review!”

“Our dog loved his stay with Michelle and her family. She gave updates with photos and videos during our trip and made sure we were in the loop with how he was doing. He had lots of playtime and outdoor time, got along great with her dogs, and was comfy and cared for :)”
“I can't say enough about Lacie!!! She is absolutely excellent. We use her whenever we go out of town and never worry about our Emma. We know she is treated as well or even better than at home. Lacie is amazing.”

“Kristin was a lifesaver. I had booked weeks in advance with another rover sitter that went unresponsive and booked with Kristin in a panic same day. She sent daily updates and was extremely communicative and professional. I could tell Ruby had a great time when I picked her up.”

“This is the second time Lilly has stayed with Caroline. She did a great job with communicating & sending pictures so we knew Lilly was comfortable & doing well. Would definitely have her sit Lilly again!”

“Jordan and her little 3-year-old daughter were super sweet!! They took great care of our little Shih Poo girl, not to mention she had just started her cycle. I was afraid that Jordan might cancel, but she didn't. My daughter and I brought her with her crate, diapers, food, and toys, and that was that. We were able to enjoy our travels to see family over the weekend without worry over our baby pooch. We're keeping Jordan's profile up top!”

“Robin is so comforting. She is calm and compassionate with our aging pup, and we are so relieved when he is in her competent care. Robin is our first choice for caring for our sweet little man. 🐶❤️”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”

“Kali was so wonderful. My mollie enjoyed her time with her and her pups! She kept me posted on mollies needs and I am grateful she worked with me on my hectic schedule.”

“Toni is fantastic. She went over and above to make sure that our senior dog had the best care - giving her meds and lots of extra snuggles. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout our time away. We highly recommend Toni!”
“Sarah watched our dog for two nights while we stayed at the Grove Park Inn. This was a great option since the hotel pet fee was $350! Thank you, Sarah, for caring for our pup!”

“Toby had a great weekend with Ali and Penny. Ali took great care of him, gave frequent updates, and went above and beyond in her flexibility and taking care of our boy. Will definitely be asking her to watch Toby again next time I need a sitter.”

“Jamie and Nathan were great to work with. They were super responsive and very accommodating. Our dog Riggins loved staying with them. We would not hesitate to book with them again!”

I was nervous, but Marnette and David took very good care of our dog. They are trustworthy and kind. We appreciated check-ins and pictures in the morning and at night. Highly recommend!”

“Mallory was very responsive and sweet to my bonded pair of cats while I left them alone with a sitter for the first time. I never had to worry about them in her care.”

“This was a rebook with Ashlee. We had a cold snap and outdoor kitties water iced over; thanks to Ashlee's care they had water! Heated water bowl ordered. Ashlee is reliable, so no worries about the kitties being uncared for.”

“if i could give adelynn more than 5 stars i would. from the moment we had the meet and greet it was a immediate yes to let her drop in on the kitties. she left photos on rover and send videos to my number to put my mind at ease. adelynn was extremely responsive, polite, and kind. i recommend her to anyone who needs a little extra help when leaving town!”

“Definitely will re-book with Thomas. He communicated well, sent pictures and a short message every drop in visit. My cats were well taken care of and I appreciate him very much! Thanks Thomas 😊”

“Elizabeth was a great cat and house sitter in her week-long overnight stay. I'll definitely have her back again in the future. She took great care of the cats, was a terrific communicator, and left my place as clean as when she arrived. So happy I found her!”

“My cat decided to become an escape artist right as I left for my vacation. These guys went above and beyond looking for her. They spent a long time looking on the first day when we confirmed that she was missing and continued combing the bushes and roads daily until I returned home. Excellent sitters who will love your pet as you do!”

About: From Kennels to Cuddles—I’ve Done It All! 🐾 Hi, I’m Nyaa! I’ve worked as a kennel tech and spent years doing private pet sitting, so whether your pup loves fetch or belly rubs, I’ve got it covered. I know how to handle all kinds of furry personalities with patience, play, and plenty of love. Think of me as your dog’s new favorite human! Also i’m very good with senior and disabled care !! Available mornings to early evenings for walks, potty breaks, feedings, cuddles, playtime, and updates—your pet’s daily routine stays fun, safe, and stress-free with me, and for you I provide safe, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs—whether in my home or yours. I follow feeding, walk, and play routines closely, offer plenty of affection, and keep their environment clean and comfortable. I also send regular updates so you always know your furry friend is happy and well cared for.
About: I’m not just someone who pauses to care for your pet; my love for animals goes beyond measure. I’m committed to ensuring that the time I spend with them exceeds all expectations. I’m a graphic designer - most work I do is from home. So my schedule is very flexible and on the go! I can work and sit in while watching your animal! 😀 I have a dog myself - she is hardly ever caged and is trained to stay out and behave accordingly. She is very energetic. But LOVES people and other animals.

About: I have been around and cared for cats my entire life. Growing up with cats and owning them myself has given me years of hands on experience understanding their unique personalities, needs, and routines. Over the years, I have cared for cats for family members, neighbors, and others through referrals\. I truly enjoy spending time with cats and understand that every cat is different—some love attention and playtime, while others need patience and space to feel comfortable. I have experience providing medication, following specific dietary needs and feeding instructions, maintaining litter boxes, and giving plenty of love and attention. Whether your cat needs basic daily care, extra attention, medication, or a caregiver who will carefully follow their individual routine, I am happy to help.

About: I have been taking care of outdoor cats since I was a little girl. Now that I am an adult, I have an indoor that I have been loving for three years now. It has been the most amazing experience! I love the unique personalities of cats and will get to know and love your cat like my own. :)
About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.
About: I have over 2 decades of experience in all types of animal care; including dog sitting/boarding, doggy daycare, and assisting vets. I also spent ten years raising and breeding boxers and working on a farm. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have pets of all kinds! I’ve always loved working with any kind of dog; I have no “restricted breeds” and I love all animals. I’m happy to help your 4 legged family members burn off some extra energy while you are away. You just let me know if they prefer to take walks, or to go on hikes, pal around and socialize at a pet park, or just play around and soak up some attention and cuddles -I’ll take care of it! I am currently self-employed and work for my self. So my schedule is flexible and I’ll have time to give your pet all the attention and love they deserve! I will care for your pet in your home however they are used to! You let me know how you want them cared for and I’ll make sure it’s done.

About: I’ve basically built my life around cats — I have two chaos-filled six-month-old kittens and a very dignified senior cat at home, so I’m fluent in everything from “zoomies at 2 a.m.” to “I’d prefer my meals warmed, please.” I’ve also cared for blind cats and other special-needs kitties, and I genuinely love figuring out the little routines, sounds, and touch cues that help them feel safe and confident. I’m the type of sitter who notices the tiny things — the way a cat’s tail tip twitches, or when they’re pretending they don’t want attention but absolutely do. Senior cats, shy cats, spicy cats, velcro cats… I get them all. What sets me apart? I’m a lifelong animal nerd (I used to carry a dog encyclopedia everywhere) and a devoted litter-box perfectionist. I love creating calm, cozy spaces, keeping everything spotless, and making sure your cat feels like the royalty they clearly believe they are.

“KaLynn was fabulous. If you are visiting Biltmore and need a place for your pooch during your visit, we highly recommend her. She was great at accommodating our senior dog for the day and was very communicative both before and during the day, plus she sent fun photos that were in an amazing quality.”

“I would give Autumn and Josh 10 stars if I could!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not only did they do a great job with my pet, but they were quick to answer, and followed every request to accommodate my Gypsy's visit down to the most minute detail. They sent me 2 pictures in the short time she was there and went above and beyond to make her feel at home! I would highly recommend them!! ♥️♥️”

“Alyssa was absolutely amazing with my pup, Biggie! She took care of him while my family and I went to the Biltmore and out to dinner, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. She sent so many pictures and videos throughout the time he was with her, which made me feel so comfortable and reassured. She was incredibly accommodating, and it was clear from the moment we picked him up that he had the best time! Biggie went straight to sleep when we got home, which tells me he was happy, loved, and well played with. Alyssa and her family treated Biggie like one of their own, and it truly meant so much to me. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and loving sitter. We will absolutely be booking with her again whenever we visit!!”
“Caroline was so gracious to host Vito in her home! We were able to explore Asheville worry free knowing Vito was safe in her care. Caroline took Vito for walks & even sent a midday text & photo to assure us Vito was happy. I highly recommend Caroline to take care of your dog while visiting Asheville!”

“Kharen was a great dog-sitter for our pup and provided pics throughout the day. Zilly came home happy and exhausted from playing all day. Kharen was also super flexible with us when we had some unexpected traffic that required extending pick up time. We really appreciated her and Zilly loved her! Thanks Kharen 😊”

About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society and spent several years fostering animals in need, helping them transition into loving forever homes. Through fostering, I’ve gained experience working with shy, energetic, anxious, and special needs pets, always focusing on patience, safety, and positive reinforcement. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Please reach out for special requests. I can try to accommodate such as picking up your pet or dropping you off at the airport. I live 6 minutes away from AVL. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members🐾 I currently work from home so if you have an anxious, high energy, sleepy, and separation anxiety I’m your girl! I am a Rover customer as well so I will your dogs just like I would want another Rover sitter to! All dogs are allowed on the couch & bed! I sleep with my 3 crazy sweet dogs. I do have a fenced yard. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.
“I needed a sitter last minute, and Julie accepted our sweet Luna with open arms. Excellent communication, I immediately felt confident Luna would be in caring and safe care, and Julie was super flexible. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have one dog and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed. Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.
About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

“Lacie was absolutely wonderful to our Cockapoo, Biscuit. We did day care in her home and she has a house perfectly suited to having animals and a huge fenced yard. She clearly loves animals and I’m so glad I found her. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: With 2 cattle dogs of my own, my love for animals has been consistent throughout my life. My day revolves around making my pups happy and comfortable, I would ensure that same standard to your furry friends. Special meals, walks, fetch, enrichment, and more, catering to your pal is my mission. I am a personal trainer and currently only work online, the only time I am out of the house is for any grocery runs or a workout of my own. I am constantly around for any animals needs as I have 2 very spoiled and needy dogs, and 2 hungry cats of my own. We live in a home in fletcher on 4 acres and a pond with an unfenced yard. Cats have a designated room with 2 litter boxes, lots of toys and food. Doggy day care includes fetch and or walks around the hilly neighborhood, maybe a dip in the pond! Dogs who are not off-leash trained will be on leash any time out doors.
“Ryan was very flexible and conscientious when Oliver stayed with her for the day. She sent pictures and let me know how he was doing. She has a menagerie of animals, including several cats, rabbits, a dog and a bird, so he got a lot of up close socializing experience, which is good for him because we like to take him out and about where there could be other animals.”

About: Hi! I've been taking care of dogs for my friends and family. In 2019, I adopted my rescued fur baby Bobby, and in 2020, I adopted my beautiful girl Bella. I currently work from home different days where I can give care to your loved one and enjoy time together. I can have my little one play together with yours. Whatever makes you more comfortable, I respect that, and will always give my best care and love to your loved one. I have a small patio where your dog can take some sun and air, play with my Bobby and enjoy the beautiful view. I also have a doggy park nearby where we can go and play.

About: I grew up with several pets including dogs, cats, and exotic birds and have a 6 month old blue heeler of my own. I will make sure your fur baby receives love as though they are my own. They’ll get lots of playtime, walks and I’ll will send photo updates of how they’re doing. I currently work full time from home so it is very easy for me to be attentive and look after your furry loved one in addition to my own 5 month old blue heeler who is very sweet and friendly with other dogs. I work from home Monday through Friday during the day and this leaves a lot of flexibility to go on walks and play together on the trails right on the 10 acres of wooded land. My home is tucked away in a safe location with a lot of space away from busy roads. I live on 10 acres of wooded land and several trails that loop the entire property that allows for a lot of sniffing opportunities, playtime in nature, and staying in a safe environment throughout the day.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs and sick/disabled dogs. I can administer medication, if needed. My dogs are our family members and yours will be treated the same. I am currently working from home so your pet won’t be left home alone for very long periods. I am available during the week and weekends including holidays. I have two very sweet and mellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to keep your doggie company. They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. Ours sleep in an x-pen together but your dog can sleep where ever it prefers. I want them to be comfortable like it is their own home.

About: I have taken care of a variety of dogs over the past 10 years. Friends, family and friends of clients have trusted me to feed, walk and entertain their pets and homes for weekends and weeks at a time. I can ensure they are taken outside as needed, play and spend time with them so they aren't so lonely while you're away. I am very clean and respectful of peoples homes and I am ready to meet any and all animals! I prefer to only dog sit at the clients home because I do not have the space to at my own. I visit homes to care for animals and that is it. Meaning, I will not enter spaces that do not pertain to the animal I am looking after. I do this to ensure your privacy. I always lock up as I come and go to ensure the security of your home and most importantly, I will treat your animals as my own!

I also provide updates and photos during my visits so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.
“I just moved to NC and was so very happy to have found Ryan to care for my two dogs when I am at work. She came over and spent a lot of time getting to know my furry kids, asking a lot of questions about their habits/quirks, and has been able to handle both dogs with ease. Also, my dogs can be very finicky when it comes to meeting new people and they both took to Ryan immediately. I would highly recommend Ryan as a caretaker for dogs, or any animal.”

“We couldn’t be happier to have found Alyssa and Bryan to love on our two doodle boys while we were away! From the moment they arrived, our pups were showered with so much care and affection. Daily hikes, endless ball throwing, and constant cuddles. Alyssa sent the best photo updates throughout their stay, which completely put us at ease and showed just how much fun our boys were having. When it was time to come home, our pups were actually sad to leave! The energy in their home and on their beautiful property is warm and welcoming, and Alyssa and Bryan are simply the most wonderful, loving people. We feel so lucky to have them to watch our boys!”

“Michaela is wonderful!! She sent photos and updates throughout the day and made sure my dog was always comfortable and safe. She’s one of the best sitters I’ve used on Rover.”

“Carlina did a great job with our dog, Maddy. She checked in and sent pics. I really appreciated that it was just our dog and Carolina’s dog there - I think too many make it a stressful stay. Maddy said she was a 10/10, bed and treats were great.”

“Our dog loved his stay with Michelle and her family. She gave updates with photos and videos during our trip and made sure we were in the loop with how he was doing. He had lots of playtime and outdoor time, got along great with her dogs, and was comfy and cared for :)”

“Kali was so wonderful. My mollie enjoyed her time with her and her pups! She kept me posted on mollies needs and I am grateful she worked with me on my hectic schedule.”

“Ryan did a wonderful job with our dog. This was his first experience staying with a sitter he didn’t know and outside of our home. She sent pictures of him throughout his stay. I would 100% let Ryan sit for our dog again! Tip top!”

“My doggy seemed to have a really good time with Josh and Autumn and their children. Especially the kids seem to enjoy my dog, which is always a good sign. I hope they are available the next time I need to have my doggie careful for”

“Sarah watched our dog for two nights while we stayed at the Grove Park Inn. This was a great option since the hotel pet fee was $350! Thank you, Sarah, for caring for our pup!”

“We loved Laura and her place with the beautiful big fenced in yard. We also loved the pictures she would send us while we were gone. We missed Tucker our dog so much and the pictures helped us know he was being taken well care of. We will use again.”

“Alexis was a great host and Max came back happy and relaxed! She sent reliable communication and was super easy to coordinate schedules with. Will recommend and will book again!”

“Katie &Jeremy are amazing multiple updates daily with great pictures. My dog couldn’t be happier when he comes home from being with them. I have booked with them multiple times. They are amazing sitters.”

“Sharon is the kindest and most attentive sitter we could ask for! Our pup clearly loved being there and it really helped us relax on vacation knowing our sweet girl was in good hands.”

“Diane took care of our Seamus while on vacation for a week and she did an amazing job! She sent several photos of him throughout the week which was nice to see him happy. He looked healthier when we picked him up then when we left which was probably due to the many walks they went on. We will definitely be booking her again the next time we need our fur baby watched!”
