6. Susan E.
“We were so incredibly fortunate that Susan chose to answer our advert as she was absolutely brilliant! I was quite anxious about leaving our rescue Pointer but when we returned Berti was happy, calm and had clearly been very well looked after and very much loved. Susan sent me regular updates and photos of Berti and the garden ; Berti can, on occasions, be reactive with certain dogs but Susan took this in her stride and calmly helped her through these tricky moments. Not only did Susan do a wonderful job with Berti and the garden she also kept the house clean and tidy and made a delicious lasagna and carrot cake for the day of our return. I was delighted that Susan was able to stay for a couple of days before moving on to her next house sit as she is an incredibly warm, engaging and friendly person - exactly the sort of trustworthy and reliable person to look after your house and beloved dog!! If you are looking for a conscientious, calm and resourceful house and pet sitter with excellent communication skills then we highly recommend Susan as a first choice.”
7. Madeline M.

About: I have owned dogs for all of my life, and I have at least two years of experience being paid to take care of other's dogs. I'm a happy cat dad and am a favorite pet sitter for family. My hours are completely my own so I have amazing flexibility. This flexibility allows me to always be there for any potential furry clients. I am open to early and late hours. I live in a dog and cat friendly neighborhood that includes plenty of safe walking spaces and local parks. I am also comfortable taking care of dogs in other living situations according to client need.
11. Socorro T.
“Soco has helped walk my dogs for years. She started helping me with my first dog Holly- who was a wonderful but challenging dog. Holly required special attention because she was abused and could be aggressive towards both humans and other dogs. Soco handled her with ease which as an owner provided such immense relief. After Holly passed away I got another dog who was also a rescue and is extremely high energy. Again, Soco handles here with ease. She’s reliable, always goes above and beyond and truly is the best dog walker I’ve found locally! Would highly recommend her if you are in need of dog walker/sitter.”

“I adopted a minature lab dog from the humane society 2 years ago. This little fellow had some anxiety issues and had been taken and returned to the humane society at least 2 times before I found him. They named him VEGAS but I changed his name to VEGA (for north star...) When I need to board Vega, I take him to BRAVEHEART. Barbara and Rick take such good care of him; they welcome him into their home and treat him as their own pet. Vega is not nervous at all about going there; in fact he gets excited and likes it. I used to take him to a kennel with lots of other dogs, but BRAVEHEART is so much more homey and caring. I would recommend BRAVEHEART to anyone who considers his or her pet a member of the family...and more than just a dog or cat. Barbara takes special care CONNECTING with your special one and my VEGA is always happy to go there. Krysti p.s. Barbara also makes her own herbal mixtures and storm-trooper helps VEGA with his anxiety issues. ....just 2-3 drops in his water helps a lot!!!! also paws-pause is a good one. ”
13. Kari M.
“Kari is a kind, loving, respectful, friendly pet lover. She is patient and trustworthy. My animals love her. Would highly recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs”
14. Sophie C.
“My wife and I went on vacation to Florida last year. We were worried for our dog because is sick and requires daily medication. We wanted to find someone responsible and reliable so we chose Sophie. She sent us updates of our dog's status via our request, and when we returned, Oscar (our German Shepheard) looked better than when we left him! She even got some extra credit for grooming him daily ;) My wife and I highly recommend Sophie as a dog sitter, because it's obvious that she isn't just in it for a pay check, she genuinely loves animals.”

My husband and two kids just moved here from Texas. We plan to spend most of our time playing outside, walking, and relaxing at home! I have a big front and back yard as well as lots of dog toys and dog treats for your fur babies to feel comfortable! There are regular water bowls accesible for the pups and I even have an extra kennel if needed.
16. Gwynn R.
“We had Gwynn stay at our house to pet sit for us on multiple occasions. She loved both our dog and cat as if they were her own and provided them with excellent care. If she still lived near us we would continue to have her pet sit for us.”
