About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Kashmir, my Redbone Coonhound puppy who loves other dogs!

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. As my apartment doesn’t allow pets, currently I don’t own any, but I love to go home and see our family dog Kodi. For Kodi we have a set time for food, walk her when we have free time everyday, and water is available at any time and we have set times in the morning and evening to let her out for the bathroom, while allowing her to go out at other times when needed.
