“Very easy couple to work with, highly recommend them! They have kept our dog twice. When I dropped him off the second time he seemed happy to be there, & remebered the trail they walked him on. He was well cared for & happy when I picked him up.”

“Erin took great care of our sweet dog, Lily. She was easy to communicate with, replied quickly, and sent pictures to let us know how much fun Lily was having playing in the river with Erin. I will be using her again, soon, and would highly recommend her to anyone!”
“We had a unique boarding situation request, and Breanne was SO sweet and SO accommodating and was nothing but amazing to our dog. She sent photos and updates on how our pup was doing. Communication was great and she responded quickly. Would definitely recommend her!!”

“Caroline is very communicative & friendly. She invited us over for a meet & greet beforehand to ensure Lilly would be comfortable and would get along with her dog Louie. She provided great care for Lilly and sent lots of pictures and messages to let us know how things were going. I would definitely recommend her and will be bringing Lilly back again very soon!”

“Toni is fantastic. She went over and above to make sure that our senior dog had the best care - giving her meds and lots of extra snuggles. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout our time away. We highly recommend Toni!”
“I felt very confident leaving my puppy with Elizabeth. She was so loving and kind to my little guy. It’s great when you can find someone who can be one on one with your dog.”

“This was our second time leaving our doggie with Erika and Megan and it was as great , smooth and overall very positive experience like the first time. They’re so good at communicating and sharing updates while we were away. We have already booked our next boarding needs :)”

“Kharen and husband did an excellent job taking care of my fur babies. They were very understanding as I have a puppy and a senior dog with very different needs and she even administered meds 3 times a day. She sent me a ton of pics to show me what a great time they were having. It’s always scary leaving your babies with strangers but I felt good from the moment I met her and her husband they were perfect. I highly recommend Kharen to take care of your fur babies and I will be using them again very soon!”

“Our pupper had a great stay!! Gouda was a great fur buddy to play with. Marnie and Dave sent frequent updates and pictures which was much appreciated. Their backyard is very large and fenced in. Truly a haven for dogs. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys!”

“Jordan was super sweet and easy to book with! She was very responsive and accommodating, she took great care of my Lottie girl and I will 100% be using her in the future! Thank you, Jordan!”

“Our dog loves Katie, Preston and their dog, Creature! We always trust them to take good care of our girl. We loved the photos and updates they send everyday.”

“There are not enough good things I could say about Alyssa and Lola’s stay with her! She was constantly communicative, treated Lola like a family member, and even took her camping (after checking if I was okay with it at first, of course)! I honestly almost regret moving for my new job because it means I won’t be able to use her as a dog sitter going forward. No need to look elsewhere: Alyssa is THE BEST!”

“Richard and his family were so nice to meet! I could definitely tell Tivoli felt comfortable with him and company, I’m glad that he had such a great time out on some fun activities too!”

About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society and spent several years fostering animals in need, helping them transition into loving forever homes. Through fostering, I’ve gained experience working with shy, energetic, anxious, and special needs pets, always focusing on patience, safety, and positive reinforcement. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Please reach out for special requests. I can try to accommodate such as picking up your pet or dropping you off at the airport. I live 6 minutes away from AVL. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members🐾 I currently work from home so if you have an anxious, high energy, sleepy, and separation anxiety I’m your girl! I am a Rover customer as well so I will your dogs just like I would want another Rover sitter to! All dogs are allowed on the couch & bed! I sleep with my 3 crazy sweet dogs. I do have a fenced yard. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.

“Krystin is the best! She takes time to spend with each of the animals and has a pure attention to details. My 3 girls were being picky eaters and she made sure to let me know, and went above and beyond trying different foods until they were satisfied! You’ll know you pets are in good hands when she takes care of them😻”

“Heather is absolutely incredible & caring! She really went out of her way to make sure my pups were well taken care of. She is amazing!! Highly recommend Heather for an incredible experience!”
“This was a rebook with Ashlee. We had a cold snap and outdoor kitties water iced over; thanks to Ashlee's care they had water! Heated water bowl ordered. Ashlee is reliable, so no worries about the kitties being uncared for.”

“Golda took great care of Maggie while my husband and I went on a hike in the Great Smoky Mountains NP (no dogs allowed)😢. Maggie was smiling when we picked her up and it looked like she had a great time!”

“If I could give more than five stars, I would. I travel for work and I am always worried about what to do with my dog Gromit. Keily went way up and beyond what I was expecting. Absolutely perfect experience and I feel very comfortable booking revisits. I highly recommend.”

“We were initially apprehensive about leaving our anxious pup at doggie daycare, but upon meeting Jaren, our worries melted away. Their fenced-in, lush green yard, complete with a variety of dog toys, immediately reassured us. We were warmly greeted by their adorable mini Aussie Shepherd, Bowie, who quickly became fast friends with our dog, Dale. Meeting Ann and their other two friendly doggies only reinforced the welcoming atmosphere. The easygoing nature of the household made drop-offs and pick-ups effortless. Dale returned home pleasantly tired from a day of play, without feeling overwhelmed.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about this lovely lady to do her justice! She took such good care of my baby girl! She helped her come out of her shell and was just amazing with her! She cared for her so lovingly and sent me pictures and updates of her throughout the day ! I feel so lucky to have found her!”

Enjoy your vacation or work trip while giving your doggo a fun filled summer getaway of their own! I work nights so I have a lot of free time during the day and weekends. “I know that Bueller had a great time with Alexis because I got regular pupdates, she ate, and she was looking for her after she was returned to us. Would definitely recommend!”

“Holly did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Buddy, while I attended a special event in Union Mills. From the beginning, she was extremely responsive and offered helpful suggestions to make Buddy feel more comfortable, especially since he suffers from separation anxiety. I was concerned about how he would cope, as he typically howls, pants, and shakes until I come home. Holly was very kind and gentle with Buddy, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. She kept me updated on how Buddy was doing throughout the evening and even sent me a few sweet photos, which helped put my mind at ease. I feel confident recommending Holly to anyone in need of care for their pet!”

“Miranda was FANTASTIC watching my 10 week old pup! She made me feel really at ease sending pictures and updates throughout the day. She truly does care for other pets as her own and my Tucker had the best time. Will absolutely come back for doggy daycare!”

About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, one sassy cat, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
“Stephanie was very sweet and patient with my baby and I am so appreciative. She sent me updates throughout the day which I enjoyed. She was accommodating to my hectic schedule.”

“Alyssa and Bryan took such great care of our two girls and they have come back happy and tired both times we’ve sent them! They kept us updated with photos and letting us know what they had been up to. They asked a lot of thoughtful questions about Zoe and Riley and I’m very happy to have found them to take care of my crew. They have a great space and yard for the dogs to play and explore, which was a big draw for me. Will definitely book them again!”

“Richard and his family (including dogs!) were very welcoming and accommodating. They have a great fenced yard for dogs and really seem to care about my dog's well-being in their care. They sent photos, including a great shot of Arlo with the Biltmore House in the background! A very special souvenir.”

“Thanks again to Jharasen, she is amazing, she worked with us on very short notice and took great care of my pup. Millie came home smiling and worn out, thank you Jharasen!!”

“We were very pleased with Devon. She responded to my inquiries promptly and we were able to set up our dog's day care visit. She texted me a couple of times during the day to let me know how Boone was doing. Boone seemed to have a great day with Devon. He took a long afternoon nap. We will have her watch our doodle again!”

“Alexis was absolutely fantastic with Lula! Lula clearly had a great time with her. Had a great walk, play time and just spent time with her. From the moment she stepped into my apartment, Lula instantly took to her. I also have two cats who warned right up to her as well. Would never be able to recommend her enough to anyone who needs a pet sitter/walker.”

About: As a child I was always the person that was bringing home the lost and injured animals I came across. Not much has changed as an adult. I worked with a pet rescue for over a decade, unfortunately the rescue was dissolved but my love for animals has not faded. I have experience with many different species of pets, ranging in age from newborn and needing to be fed every 2 hours to senior animals that need extra care and patience. I am experienced in giving medicine, and providing all the love and attention your fur babies deserve. I am currently in a career transition and taking classes part time at a local college so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and make sure they have as much love as possible. I am very diligent in making sure all of your requests are followed to the letter. I personally have a dog that needs wiped after she potties to prevent UTIs and it is a deal breaking for me when I can tell a sitter has not followed my instructions. I understand that routine is important and strive to be a few minutes early for every appointment. I also understand that someone other than yourself caring for your beloved furbaby can be stressful for both you and them. I strive to ease as much of that stress for both parents and furchildren as possible. As a pet parent myself who also uses a sitter when I have to be away for any length of time, having that trusted sitter is life saving.

I can help with dog walking and pet/house sitting, including staying in the home with your pet(s), feeding, walking dogs, caring for and giving love in your absence. I absolutely adore animals of all kinds. I would love to incorporate time with pets into my weekly routine by being given the opportunity to care for, feed, walk dogs, playing, and giving love to furry friends. Providing you with peace of mind as you are at work or out of town. I am available Monday through Friday and flexible for weekend when needed. I will be providing care for your pet(s) in your home. I will abide by house rules and any instructions provided by the owner for the care of pet(s) and home. I will provide a safe, fun, loving, and caring environment for your pet(s) in your absence.
About: https://www.rover.com/sit/kaitlr39001 I have about 4 years of experience with medically fragile dogs as my dog is a diabetic and takes insulin and requires a prescription diet with frequent potty breaks as well as one other dog who is on daily medications. My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. I love all animals and would never put my dogs or any other animal in harms way.
“Emily has been caring for Toast for a couple months now. She is very good at reinforcing the same commands I use with Toast. Which is fantastic, because I did a dog training course with him, along with one on one training. He gets consistency with her. And she communicates very well with her availability and what days/nights she can and can't do. Since Emily has cats and dogs of her own I can tell she truly puts in the time and effort to make my dog feel just as comfortable as her own animals. ❤️”

About: I bring a broad background in animal care, with years of experience volunteering at dog and cat rescues in Guatemala. During that time, I fostered dogs, trained puppies, and assisted at spay and neuter clinics. I am active and enjoy running with dogs, which makes me a great match for high-energy pets. In addition to my dog experience, I have worked with horses and lived with cats, giving me a strong understanding of animals with different needs and personalities. My goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care so pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care 24/7. Most of my time is spent managing and maintaining my property, which gives me a steady routine and plenty of availability for pets. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs for walks, spend quality time with cats, and ensure all pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I live on a quiet dead-end road in the woods, right by a river, providing a peaceful and secure environment for pets. I have a friendly cat to keep other animals company when appropriate. I also care for pets in their own homes, spending time training, walking, and engaging them safely outdoors. I am attentive and vigilant, ensuring pets are happy, supervised, and well-cared for at all times.

I’m a preschool teacher in the mornings and tend to have a lot of free time. I look forward to taking care of your furry friends!! 🐾❤️ I work as a preschool teacher from 8 AM to 12 PM on weekdays. I can come over before and after that and am completely free for overnight stays when needed :) I always keep a close watch on pets to keep them out of trouble, especially when outside. I’m comfortable with anything from crates to couch cuddles and will be sure to be consistent with your rules/norms. (I only pet sit at owners home).
About: Hi! I’m Celeste — your dog’s new favorite auntie 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover originally from Denver, now living right in downtown Asheville with my 5-year-old “puppy” (yes, she still thinks she’s a baby). We go on daily mountain walks, explore the city, and spend way too much time cuddling — so your dog will fit right into our routine. I’m dependable, nurturing, and super communicative. I’ll treat your fur baby like my own, keep you updated with plenty of photos, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained the whole time. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and I can often take last-minute bookings. If you need consistent care, overnight sitting, or a recurring schedule, I’m happy to make that work too — just send me a message! In My Home: I create a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in downtown Asheville with my friendly 5-year-old pup, and we follow a steady routine of walks, playtime, and mellow downtime. Visiting pets get the same treatment as my own — constant supervision, lots of affection, fresh water at all times, and a cozy place to relax. I keep my space clean, dog-proofed, and stress-free so every animal feels comfortable and at home. In Their Home: I follow your pet’s normal routine to keep them grounded and secure. I handle feeding, walking, potty schedules, medication (if needed), enrichment, and plenty of snuggles. I’m big on communication, so you’ll get updates and photos as often as you’d like. About: I grew up with feisty terriers, and now have a high energy Dalmatian. I’m up for the task! It’s a pleasure to play hard, and get them tuckered out for cuddle time. By spending time with our Dalmatian, high energy pups will meet their match and older dogs will tap into their youth. Looking forward to it! I work from home, and already have dog-care built into my routine. Our fenced in yard makes it easy for them to run-around. Daily walks around the block. We have a fenced in yard, great for them to run free. We’ve got dog beds, fun toys and lots of fresh water always available.
“Addie is a Cairn/Westie mix who hasn't always been sure of how she feels about other pets. Because of that, we went to meet Ryan and her crew before we signed up with her. Addie LOVED her miniature zoo with cats and a dog, some bunnies, and a parrot! She came home from her stay very happy (and exhausted). She'd eaten all her food (which means she wasn't nervous) and Ryan had given her her dental chews and rawhide treats, so she was well and truly cared for. She had a ball! What more can you ask??? Thanks, Ryan - you're the best!”

“Sharon was amazing to help us when we were in need of someone to board our dog. She took him in last minute, loved on him, and went above and beyond for our boy! We are so thankful for her attentiveness and care. We will be booking with Sharon again!”

“My dog had a great time with Sarah and her family. He was well-cared for, got along with their dog, and got lots of exercise and attention. It was a great experience and I appreciated the pictures she sent!”

“Pups had a wonderful vacation at Crystal's house. Playing with children or hanging out on the porch - seems the pups enjoyed it a lot as they looked very happy when we picked them up. Thank you!”

“Nikki was beyond amazing with her care for our pup! Her home and property are a dog’s dream for endless running and outdoor time. She also made sure Asha got lots of great hikes on the nearby trails! Also, her dog is a wonderful play buddy! Nikki even gave us some goodies from her garden when we arrived and then made sure Asha got an early morning trail hike/romp early in the morning before we picked her up. We couldn’t have asked for better care for our fur-kid. Thank you, Nikki!!”

“My dog didn’t want to leave, he loved it here so much! We received lots of pictures while we were away, which we loved. We’ll be taking Banjo here again when we go on vacations!”

“Alexis was great! Rook was happy when I picked her up and Alexis sent photos each day. Never had to worry about her while I was gone. Would definitely book with her again!”
