About: I’ve had pets all of my life ranging from cats and dogs to a bearded dragon. I love and care for all animals and will do that for yours as well. As my apartment doesn’t allow pets, currently I don’t own any, but I love to go home and see our family dog Kodi. For Kodi we have a set time for food, walk her when we have free time everyday, and water is available at any time and we have set times in the morning and evening to let her out for the bathroom, while allowing her to go out at other times when needed. I will act according to the owners specific instructions, while doing what I need to do to take care of their pets in the best way possible.

They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. About: I grew up with dogs as family pets and have always considered myself a “dog person.” My family had a sheepdog, a black lab, and a Scottish sheepdog, which helped shape my lifelong love for animals. About 30 years ago, I met my wife, a true cat person through and through, and over time I happily transitioned into becoming a devoted cat lover as well. Over the years, my wife and I have shared life with three cats, even taking them on leash walks around the neighborhood—yes, I am proudly that person now. Bella, my 18-year-old super senior cat, just lost her struggle with kidney disease and we miss her dearly. My wife and I spoil our animals all the time. Our cats have always been like children to us and the bonds we build with our animals over the years have been deeply meaningful. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. As my apartment doesn’t allow pets, currently I don’t own any, but I love to go home and see our family dog Kodi. For Kodi we have a set time for food, walk her when we have free time everyday, and water is available at any time and we have set times in the morning and evening to let her out for the bathroom, while allowing her to go out at other times when needed.
