“Laina was an excellent caretaker for Cooper. Cooper has lots of anxiety and needs lots of patience which Laina was able to provide. She had great communication the whole time and made me feel comfortable Cooper was cared for. As difficult as Cooper can be to handle she was able to do it. I would happily recommend Laina to anyone who wants their dog cared for properly for their specific needs. She even got Cooper to feel comfortable enough to lick her hand which is not like him with new people. Great communication, great care, ten out of ten experience, by far the best I could’ve hired. The crew will stay at home 😂 Thanks for understanding!!*** Hey there, friends! We’re a family of 6, 4 humans (myself, my partner, our 7 year old son, and out 5 month old baby), 1 foster fail pup named Law, and 1 angel of an elderly rescue dog named Oni. My partner and I both have grown up with dogs and cats and have socialized both our dogs and our sons with animals as much as possible. In fact, our kids can’t get enough of animals and get super excited anytime they see one - it’s pretty stinkin’ cute. I have experience with fostering, boarding pets, and house sitting, as well volunteering for Austin Pets Alive for a few years. We’re pretty flexible and open to any special needs your pet has because we understand our pets are our family, so please feel free to let us know what’s needed and we’d be happy to accommodate. We’re super excited to meet you and your fur baby! I work from home 5 days a week and rarely do anything on the weekends (we’re homebodies!), so I’m here all day to play with your pet and take them out regularly! We have a big yard that has a short fence around the majority of the back yard, but they will have plenty of free space outside to play. If you worry your pup may run away off leash in the yard, we have additional short fencing that can easily be put up to keep them safe. Our dog is a little loud because she’s hard of hearing and will act a little tough at first with a tiny growl (hey! She’s been my baby since I bottle fed her at 5 weeks, she’s gotta protect me her fam) and she will bark for awhile but she gets used to every pet she’s been around in a matter of minutes. Never had any fights or incidents with her! We just ask that if your animal has any aggressive tendencies, to please consider other options or contact me for a meet and greet to see if we make a good fit. I’m here to play with your pet during the day and take them out/feed them/give them treats as much as needed. I do ask that you be as honest as possible about your pet’s potty-training issues (if any) and temperament/energy levels - we want them to be comfortable with us but we also have to look out for our kiddo. I can assure you though, your furbaby will be in the best of hands and may even end up coming home with a few new tricks to show off!! XO - M & B

“Caitlin was wonderful. She was on time for a meet and greet, and after going over everything, we booked her for a vacation coming up. At the last minute, we needed Caitlin to spend the evening with Luna because our dog was adjusting to losing her companion and changing locations, and we were going out with friends all day and then again all evening. Luna was very chill when we got home late. I look forward to a stress-free vacation knowing that Luna is in good hands with Caitlin.”

About: I have been taking care of other people's animals since middle school and just love getting to know your pets! Experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and fish! Willing to take on pets with medical needs! I work 40 hours over 5 days days a week. I am typically away from the house from 9 am - 5 pm or 11 am - 7 pm. Depending on your location, I may be able to pop back to the house on my short lunch break. I am comfortable walking your animals on leashes, pushing them in strollers, using a treadmill, playing with them in the yard, or whatever else is your routine and preference!

About: With hiking trails right off my property and dozens more within a 15 minute drive, I’m able to offer daily physical activity for your pups. I live on 3 acres so there’s plenty of room to play ball or get the zoomies. Also, my sweet dog Atticus will be the perfect playmate for your pup(s)! He is a 7 year old Shepard with good energy, and grew up with two senior dogs so he knows when to give space. Enjoy your vacation or work trip while giving your doggo a fun filled summer getaway of their own! I work nights so I have a lot of free time during the day and weekends. My animal loving husband takes over the care for our boarders while I’m at work. For all of my night shifters out there, I am able to make odd/late hours work as well. I'm happy to take your pup on a walk, play with toys in the yard or just lounge around the house. I'm very flexible so whatever your pup needs, I can accommodate.

About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Cheeto, a Redbone Coonhound who loves other dogs!
