My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. I love all animals and would never put my dogs or any other animal in harms way.

About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.

About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Cheeto, a Redbone Coonhound who loves other dogs!

About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more. I have cared for very old dogs that needed assistance in bowel movements as well as simple motivation for stubborn dogs that don’t like to walk. About: My husband and I both work from home and have a large, fenced-in yard. We have one dog and two cats of our own and have previously fostered both dogs and cats with the Asheville Humane Society. Not only am I a huge animal lover, but I also am well versed in dog behavior and can administer medicine if needed. If you’d like references, please let me know and I’d be happy to provide some for you. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own, including lots of belly rubs, play and treat time and of course, I’ll send you photos so you know your dog or cat is okay. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville and 10 minutes from Black Mountain. If you’re visiting Asheville and need recommendations on where to eat and things to do, let me know! My husband and I both work from home, so your dog will receive lots of attention during their stay. We have many dog beds, toys, and big windows that many Rover dogs have enjoyed looking out of. We have a large, fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. Our two cats have been with us since they were just a few weeks old (they are foster fails), so they grew up with our dogs and are used to dogs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m happy to customize your experience specifically for your fur baby with their likes and dislikes! We have a secure, fenced in yard for potty breaks and play time.
