About: I bring a broad background in animal care, with years of experience volunteering at dog and cat rescues in Guatemala. During that time, I fostered dogs, trained puppies, and assisted at spay and neuter clinics. I am active and enjoy running with dogs, which makes me a great match for high-energy pets. In addition to my dog experience, I have worked with horses and lived with cats, giving me a strong understanding of animals with different needs and personalities. My goal is always to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care so pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care 24/7. Most of my time is spent managing and maintaining my property, which gives me a steady routine and plenty of availability for pets. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs for walks, spend quality time with cats, and ensure all pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I live on a quiet dead-end road in the woods, right by a river, providing a peaceful and secure environment for pets. I have a friendly cat to keep other animals company when appropriate. I also care for pets in their own homes, spending time training, walking, and engaging them safely outdoors. I am attentive and vigilant, ensuring pets are happy, supervised, and well-cared for at all times.

About: https://www.rover.com/sit/kaitlr39001 I have about 4 years of experience with medically fragile dogs as my dog is a diabetic and takes insulin and requires a prescription diet with frequent potty breaks as well as one other dog who is on daily medications. My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. I love all animals and would never put my dogs or any other animal in harms way.

Our cats Trek and Flash seemed happy and healthy when we got home - what more could pet parents want. Alex played with them during each visit (evidenced by photos) which we appreciate so they were not bored, fed them, scooped litter, kept their water fountains full. We would definitely book with Alex again as the need arises.

About: Hi there! I’ve grown up my whole life taking care of & loving family dogs, cats, lizards and birds. I have my own 2 fur babies at home, and have extensive experience caring for and handling most animals. Ever since I was young, I’ve always had a deep passion for the unconditional love only they can give. Whatever they need, I assure you I can provide - whether they be elderly or one year old. I’ll be sure to give them ample snuggles, constant affection and more than enough walks/nature time! Right now I’m only working part-time (self-employed) so I will have so much quality time to spend with your baby! I’m home most days and nights. I will follow their schedule you’ve made for them, feeding them on time, letting them out to run/walking them, plenty of playtime and exploring, potty breaks as needed. I also update frequently with photos & videos of your pet, just so you have peace of mind and know they’re getting all the love and being well taken care of. 🥰

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and a caring heart. I work with animals of all ages, sizes, breeds, etc. Animals naturally gravitate to me and feel safe. I love being able to help out fellow humans with the bonus of keeping your animals happy & healthy :) I am a mama to a young boy, who is also good with animals. Although, he is in school most of the time. I do not usually come out later in the evenings due to my son’s bedtime, but can make it work if you are located close by. During the day time I have a good bit of flexibility. I am currently only offering services at the clients home - I prefer to meet prior so I can visibly see what I will need to do. If this is under shorter notice / a meet cannot occur, please either write or text me a message of any needs, concerns or details necessary to make it the best experience for your pets. You can fully trust that your pets will be happy, safe and well taken care of.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a child. Every animal I meet likes me quickly. I have a knack with them. Even when they don't like other people, I win them over. For the last 5 years I have been caring for my senior, diabetic, miniature poodle. That requires being vigilant about what and when he eats as well as giving him an insulin shot after each meal. I can take care of high-maintenance animals as well as easy-going pets. I'm currently working part-time from my home. I have plenty of time to spend with my furry friends. I am available during the day, or evenings. For the right client, I would be willing to stay in your home overnight. I walked dogs daily for 2 clients when I was living in Bangkok, Thailand. They trusted me with keys to their home so I could come and go during the day M-F. There was never a problem.

About: I work as a middle school PE and Health teacher in Henderson County. I’ve been an educator and soccer coach for 10 years. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and Health/PE from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am a proud dog mom to Piper, a chocolate Labrador Retriever, and Toby, a Golden Retriever. The three of us are all very active and love going on long walks at the greenway and hikes on the mountain trails! My dogs are both very friendly and get along very well with other pets, regardless of their size and age! If you choose me to care for your pet(s), whether that be walking, sitting, or having them here for an overnight stay, my goal is to make sure to treat them as if they were my own- with plenty of love, attention, and exercise that I believe every dog is entitled to. If you would like for me to keep your dog overnight, the only request I have would be that you provide a crate and that he/she gets along with other dogs! I work full time as a teacher, so my availability for pet care in addition to taking care of my pets, is limited to the weekends until the end of May. Over the summer, I will have full time availability. Pet care is a regular and rewarding part of my daily routine. I make time each day for walks, play, feeding, and one-on-one attention, and I plan my weekly schedule around the needs of my pets, and the pets in my care. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, I’m flexible and committed to keeping pets happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs—while giving them plenty of attention and affection. In my home, pets have space to relax, play, and feel like part of the family. In a client’s home, I aim to keep things calm and consistent so pets feel secure in their familiar space.

About: I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own! I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible. My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

About: Hey there! I’m Katelyn. Thank you for considering me to take care of your furry companion(s). I may be new to Rover, but am certainly not new to caring for and working with pets. In fact, I began pet sitting as a young teen for neighbors. I have ample experience caring for and loving on: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, birds, rodents, turtles and rabbits. This includes pups and kitties of all sizes, temperaments, ages and health statuses. I am Fear Free certified through my continued volunteer work with a local humane society. Fear Free is a nationwide initiative across the animal welfare community that offers online educational courses on handling fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and cats through evidence based strategies. My time at the humane society consists of but not limited to: walking dogs, providing enrichment opportunities for the animals, assisting the staff with adoptions, and staying behind the scenes to tend to the back of the house tasks that keep the facility up and running. My approach is to treat each animal as an individual and get to know each other according to their unique personality and preferences. Positive reinforcement and enrichment opportunities are my jam! My experience ranges from dog walking to extended period pet sitting to fostering both dogs and cats to assisting behavior teams at animal shelters/rescues. I am also well versed in daily upkeep tasks required for barn animals. I’d be happy to elaborate upon request. I split my time between the Tryon, Greenville, and Fletcher areas. I work in healthcare full time, which limits my availability to early mornings, evenings, weekends. Potential holidays with sufficient advance notice. Outside of my 8-5, my schedule is rather flexible- leaving plenty of time to take care of your furry ones! For house sitting bookings, I am able to watch your pets in your home only at this time. I believe animals thrive on routine and keeping their days as normal as possible when their person/family are away. Whatever their typical day to day looks like is how I will care for them! Safety is something I take very seriously and is of utmost importance.

About: I have loved and cared for dogs all my life. I started working with dogs when I was 17. I was a kennel tech from 17 until 20. I worked and cared for doggy day care clients, boarders, and even helped with vet tech work. I also recently did dog training where I hosted board and trains in my own home! I currently have an open schedule for drop-ins and walks where I have time to look after your pet, will be needing to close my avaliablity for boarding and day care due to having a service dog in training. I will make exceptions for crate trained dogs. For possible boarders and day-care: I have a fenced-in area in my yard to let your pup run wild and get exercise! I also prefer crates for sleeping overnight, as long as that's okay! Cuddle sessions will happen every night! Walks/drop-ins: I will make sure your dog's get properly exercised on their walks or hikes. And make sure when I check in that pets are well cared for and the house is left cleaner than I left it
