About: I have 4 years of professional animal care experience, and have grown up around dogs and cats. I’ve provided care for dogs, cats and reptiles. I’m comfortable working with animals with special needs. I currently work full-time on week days from 8-4. If you live within 10 minutes of West Asheville I am able to provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours. If you live further out, I can provide breaks every 8 hours. I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule and I have no pets of my own, so all of my attention can be on your fur babies!! I can’t currently offer boarding in my home as my roommate has a dog, but I am happy to come to your house. If needed, I can provide plant care during my stay, and will ensure you come home to a clean house and happy animals.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and cared for them for the last 4 years. I am 19 years old and extremely active, I love runs and long walks and playing with all types of pets. I’m responsible and will take very good care of your pets. Im currently working part time and have plenty of time to check in and stay over to care for pets. My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. I am also very knowledgeable about toxic materials including plants, food, etc. For birds, dogs and cats. I am cautious and constantly aware of my surroundings. About: I believe that pets deserve an abundance of respect and understanding, as well as optimal attention and care. In general, I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs and cats than people and treat them all with dignity, respect, and love. I have had decades of experience with a variety of pets, from blind pugs to anxious mutts to timid cats and everything in between. I believe pets must be addressed on their own level and met where they are. As a middle-aged woman with many responsibilities and experiences, I am adept at managing a wide variety of pet tasks with conscientiousness and skill. You can be confident that your dogs and cats will be in safe and loving hands with me while you are away. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.

About: I lived on a farm until I was about 18 and have a lot of experience working with all types of animals. During my high school years, I moved to NYC to live with my dad. While there I worked with a company called Wag. I worked with Wag during the summer of 2016; the summer before my senior year of high school. Working with Wag was an amazing opportunity because I got to walk many types of dogs. I have received over 300 five-star reviews with Wag. I'm great with any size of dog as well as any age. I have great experience in walking dogs that are visually impaired dogs. I currently live in a house with 3 dogs that I take care of. Being able to take care of dogs is what I love to do.
