About: I have been a dog owner since I became 18 years old. My first dog Kaiya lived a long, healthy and fulfilled life. Kaiya lived all the way to 15 years old. I have experience with older pups as well as puppies. I currently have 2 smaller dogs, a rat terrier named Daisey and a mixed breed named Cooper, both rescues. They are energetic and require lots of love and attention. I have also house sat for numerous friends and family members over the years. I love plants and taking pride in taking care of others and pets ! I have a flexible schedule and able to take extended lunch breaks to take pets out for a walk/potty break. I am free most weekends and dedicate them to hiking, car rides, swimming or long walks and ball play. I prefer to go to the client's home. I have lots of availability. Currently working from home part time. I am active and willing to stop by almost anytime needed. I have reliable transportation. I do have a fenced yard. We play fetch frequently and walk around my neighborhood or local lake. I love the company off all pets.

Indigo gave me updates about how my bunny was getting more comfortable and when I came home he did zoomies around the room letting me know how happy he was this week. About: I’m an Asheville native who loves nature and animals deeply. I communicate well & efficiently. Working with animals fills me with so much joy. I happily work with animals of all ages, sizes, breeds, etc. You can rest assured your pets will receive the best care possible each time they are with me. Although, he is in school most of the time. I do not usually come out late in the evenings due to my son’s bedtime, but can make it work if you are located close by. During the day time I have a good bit of flexibility, which allows this job to fit in my lifestyle well. I am currently only offering services at the clients home - I prefer to meet prior so I can visibly see what I will need to do. If this is under shorter notice / a meet cannot occur, please either write or text me a message of any needs, concerns or details necessary to make it the best experience for your pets. About: I’ve had cats and a previous dog since childhood. I have love for all animals, but cats have won my heart. I love walking dogs and giving them time to run around and get their energy out. I have previously volunteered at Brother Wolf for dog walking and really enjoyed it! I’m currently filling my client caseload so I have more flexibility on the days listed here to offer help and support to your fur baby I’m very attentive to my pets needs, safety, and health. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

About: For many years I've been my family and friends go-to animal sitter and daytime/evening caregiver. I take pride in their trust in me caring for their babies. I have two fur babies of my own. My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. I work remotely Monday-Friday, I’m happy to accommodate your pets needs during the hours of, 6pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. Also, experienced in administering medications not limited to injections such as insulin, subcutaneous fluids, etc. Each service can be customized to your needs and discussed over the phone in terms of caring for multiple animals at your home. Trust is a significant factor when it comes to putting your animals in someone else's care, it's important to follow any instruction that you leave me for your pet while always keeping you updated and taking your pets safety first and foremost. All of my clients and animals are treated as I would expect my animals and myself to be treated. They become my family when I care for them. I am also very knowledgeable about toxic materials including plants, food, etc. For birds, dogs and cats. I am cautious and constantly aware of my surroundings. I prefer to be preventative when it comes to animal care.

About: I have 4 years of professional animal care experience, and have grown up around dogs and cats. I’ve provided care for dogs, cats and reptiles. I’m comfortable working with animals with special needs. I currently work full-time on week days from 8-4. If you live within 10 minutes of West Asheville I am able to provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours. If you live further out, I can provide breaks every 8 hours. I have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule and I have no pets of my own, so all of my attention can be on your fur babies!! I can’t currently offer boarding in my home as my roommate has a dog, but I am happy to come to your house. If needed, I can provide plant care during my stay, and will ensure you come home to a clean house and happy animals.

In general, I tend to feel more comfortable around dogs and cats than people and treat them all with dignity, respect, and love. I have had decades of experience with a variety of pets, from blind pugs to anxious mutts to timid cats and everything in between. As a middle-aged woman with many responsibilities and experiences, I am adept at managing a wide variety of pet tasks with conscientiousness and skill. You can be confident that your dogs and cats will be in safe and loving hands with me while you are away. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. I always make sure prospective dogs are a good fit with the group to ensure safety and an optimal experience for all the dogs. We love meeting new dogs and welcome having new playmates here at "Camp Dewdog." These guys have so much fun here, romp around the yard, hide in the shrubery, zoom around the porch, and go on walks in our Montford neighborhood to see the goats and chickens down the street or to the Reed's Creek Greenway, or Hummingbird Park. There's never a dull moment here, except when the pups are sacked out on our porch swing bed or lounging in the house on the sheepskin rugs. Your pets will be cared for with the same dedication and attentiveness as with my own pets. Dogs can either roam and lounge in our large Victorian home or frolic in our lush fenced yard and porch. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.

About: Hi, I’m Kalynn!! I love animals and have years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I regularly house sit and pet sit for family and friends, which has given me experience with everything from independent kitties, a pack of 3 lap dogs at home, to a loving Lab and a hyper Husky. I am completely comfortable managing different feeding schedules, energy levels, and overnight routines I work part time with a flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time to love, play, and follow your babies feeding schedules and any medical needs :) I prefer caring for pets at their own home to ensure they're comfortable, safe and have everything they need. Staying in a familiar environment greatly reduces their anxiety. I’ll send photo updates, and I’ll always attend them and make sure they’re secure while outside for potty and play!!
