“Debbie was marvelous! We were a little nervous as our Abbey is a 13 year-old 3-pound chihuahua who is almost blind and Ghirardelli is a 6-pound bouncy poodle. Debbie has four dogs of her own. Two are huge boyzois! No worries-all four of her fur babies were very, very sweet! Debbie cuddled Abbey and our babies slept with her grandson which they absolutely loved!!! We got pics and updates every day. Debbie even waited up for our late flight so that we could get our babies as soon as we got back home. Best puppy B&B ever!!! We will be back, Debbie.”

She has spent a large majority of her life swimming and sailing the Chesapeake Bay. Her little body is about worn out. About: I have taken care of dogs for several years, growing up we always had family dogs, and even now taking care of friends & families dogs while they are on vacation. My home has plenty of space as well as a nice sized backyard that they can run around and play in. My dog is always looking to make a friend and is very sweet towards people and other dogs. If you have specific instructions regarding care for your dog, I will make sure that they are cared for the way they are used to! I work full time as a waitress, and I am done most days by 2pm, so I have the rest of the day to take care of pups! I’m usually off Monday’s as well! I have a fenced in backyard, as well as a dog of my own to keep your dog company while I am at work! I have spare dog crates & bowls, unless you prefer to bring your own!

About: Hi! I might be new to Rover but not pet sitting! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently own two pugs and a soon to be therapy dog named Zoey. I also live with my husband Mike! He is an engineer at Duke Energy & isn’t always home. But I work from home so cuddles are always available for your pup! Beyond caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered with the Blue Ridge Humane Society and spent several years fostering animals in need, helping them transition into loving forever homes. Through fostering, I’ve gained experience working with shy, energetic, anxious, and special needs pets, always focusing on patience, safety, and positive reinforcement. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. We also have a dog park in our community! I take my dogs there every day after work.

But my worries went away after meeting Megan and seeing the big fenced yard where he could play and then all the photos where it was evident that Reno was enjoying himself. Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust.
