About: As a person who has been the primary care taker of my pets since I was 8, I know the right way to take care of animals and know how hard it can be to find quality care for our furry friends. With 2 cats of my own and with several previously owned dogs, I know I can provide excellent care to all kinds of animals! I also have a Veterinary Assisting degree, so also being able to alert owners of any health issues to be wary of is something I take seriously! Pet care is a daily task, as such I am able to do daily walks and be able to do other care tasks throughout the day so that your pet feels enriched and loved even when you’re away. I understand dog behavior to a good degree as I studied it while in school to earn my degree, so being able to safely walk a dog even if they are reactive is something I feel comfortable with.

I’m a graphic designer - most work I do is from home. So my schedule is very flexible and on the go! I can work and sit in while watching your animal! 😀 I have a dog myself - she is hardly ever caged and is trained to stay out and behave accordingly. She is very energetic. But LOVES people and other animals.

About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

My availability to provide animal care outside of my home is Saturday and Sunday during the day or extended evening hours with the occasional holiday. I am also very knowledgeable about toxic materials including plants, food, etc. For birds, dogs and cats. I am cautious and constantly aware of my surroundings. I prefer to be preventative when it comes to animal care.

I cared for my senior dog until he was 17 years old, so I’m very familiar with the slower routines, medication needs, and gentle patience older pets require. I’m patient, observant, and always let each pet set the pace, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between. I follow your routines exactly as you lay them out: feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise habits, enrichment activities, and any house rules you rely on. I’m very detail-oriented, so things like secure doors, gates, and safe spaces are always double-checked. Cleanliness and comfort matter to me, too. I keep water fresh, living areas tidy, and make sure your pet has a peaceful space where they can relax and feel secure. I also communicate regularly so you always know how your pet is doing. Overall, I aim to provide steady, reliable care that makes your pet feel safe and understood, and gives you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
