I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.
About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too.
