Their fenced-in, lush green yard, complete with a variety of dog toys, immediately reassured us. We were warmly greeted by their adorable mini Aussie Shepherd, Bowie, who quickly became fast friends with our dog, Dale. Meeting Ann and their other two friendly doggies only reinforced the welcoming atmosphere. The easygoing nature of the household made drop-offs and pick-ups effortless. Dale returned home pleasantly tired from a day of play, without feeling overwhelmed.”

My husband and I have gone to her many times with questions about our own dogs and she is always right on target with her answers and advice. Her dogs are her children. They go everywhere she goes. Ingrid has a deep love for nature, hiking, and getting her dogs out with her in the mountains and fresh air. Her passion for animals extends far beyond her own dogs and home. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for their dogs to be cared in an environment with the utmost respect and love.”

Tammy sent me updates throughout the day so I knew Theo was having fun playing with Riley, going on a walk and hanging out on the back deck. When Theo got home, he was ready for a nap! I highly recommend Tammy and have already booked another stay.”

“Lana took care of our dog Gracey like her own. She was very welcoming when we dropped of Gracey and took her on walks to give her enough time outside. Gracey was very happy and comfortable with her and she also sent us photos to keep us updated. We will absolutely keep Gracey with her again whenever we visit Galveston. “My dog has separation anxiety and loved his old doggy daycare back in our old town. I had trouble finding a daycare here when I moved that he liked and that fit with my schedule. We're so lucky we stumbled on Ryan. She has super flexible hours so I can stay late at the office if needed. She has all sorts of animals so Ludo is never lonely. She's also a retired vet tech so she has plenty of experience with all kinds of animals. Ludo barely even notices when I walk out her door to leave him for the day, and that's HUGE.”

About: I am huge pet lover and throughly enjoy my drop in visits with animals. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to spend time with your pets. I have a flexible schedule and I am looking forward to speaking more about your needs. I work remotely so my schedule is pretty flexible. I generally do home visits first thing in the morning and in the evenings. I am happy to walk pets as well. I have a fenced in backyard but it isn’t super high if your dog is a jumper. I am a remote worker so I can walk/watch the dogs for bathroom breaks as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages, colors, and sizes since I was 10! Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love on their fur babies. My husband and two kids just moved here from Texas. We plan to spend most of our time playing outside, walking, and relaxing at home! I have a big front and back yard as well as lots of dog toys and dog treats for your fur babies to feel comfortable! There are regular water bowls accesible for the pups and I even have an extra kennel if needed.

“I adopted a minature lab dog from the humane society 2 years ago. This little fellow had some anxiety issues and had been taken and returned to the humane society at least 2 times before I found him. They named him VEGAS but I changed his name to VEGA (for north star...) When I need to board Vega, I take him to BRAVEHEART. Barbara and Rick take such good care of him; they welcome him into their home and treat him as their own pet. Vega is not nervous at all about going there; in fact he gets excited and likes it. I used to take him to a kennel with lots of other dogs, but BRAVEHEART is so much more homey and caring. I would recommend BRAVEHEART to anyone who considers his or her pet a member of the family...and more than just a dog or cat. Barbara takes special care CONNECTING with your special one and my VEGA is always happy to go there. Krysti p.s. Barbara also makes her own herbal mixtures and storm-trooper helps VEGA with his anxiety issues. ....just 2-3 drops in his water helps a lot!!!! also paws-pause is a good one. ”
