“I hadn't left Chloe with anyone for over three years, so finding a dog sitter was a big event in our life. She and I spend every day, all day together, so I was like a mama dropping her child for their first day of kindergarten. But Chloe had such a positive meet and greet, she couldn't wait to return! During our initial meeting, Rayana let Chloe thoroughly explore her house, which thrilled her as she's part hound dog and her nose demands she smell every crack and crevice. When Rayana invited her up on the sofa and gave her a pillow, Chloe looked at me like, omg, are you seeing this?! Nobody lets me up on their couch but you, mom! The cherry on top was when Rayana proceeded to give her lots of hugs and kisses and praise. We had a wonderful chat, after which Chloe discovered the doggie door and the yard, and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to get her to leave! When we returned for doggy daycare I was feeling emotional and worried I might start blubbering, but within a minute of arriving, Chloe was so excited to be there that I couldn't get her attention to tell her I was leaving! It made all the difference to know she was with someone who would love on her like I do. Chloe was a rescue who had a traumatic start in life, and I never imagined I would find someone who'd give her the kind of love and attention that has helped her heal and flourish. About: I have taken care of pets as long as I can remeber. People ask me to help them with their pets all the time. Your pets are part of your family. I will treat them as the treasures they are. I am available every day from 7:30 am to 7 pm. With those hours it gives me a lot of time to keep your fur baby entertained and fed. I know that for my own clan of animals that I prefer to board them at home. I like to offer the same service to my clients. Kenneling at home keeps your pet comfortable in surroundings they are used to. I can swing by to feed them, walk them, and just keep them company at least twice a day.

About: I grew up with several pets including dogs, cats, and exotic birds and have a 6 month old blue heeler of my own. I have amateur dog training experience and by request, I can support your dog's training needs while I am looking out for them. No charge! I will make sure your fur baby receives love as though they are my own. They’ll get lots of playtime, walks and I’ll will send photo updates of how they’re doing. I currently work full time from home so it is very easy for me to be attentive and look after your furry loved one in addition to my own 6 month old blue heeler who is very sweet and friendly with other dogs. I work from home Monday through Friday during the day and this leaves a lot of flexibility to go on walks and play together on the trails right on the 10 acres of wooded land. My home is tucked away in a safe location with a lot of space away from busy roads. I live on 10 acres of wooded land and several trails that loop the entire property that allows for a lot of sniffing opportunities, playtime in nature, and staying in a safe environment throughout the day.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I got into pet grooming at an early age and have worked and managed in a few different salons around Asheville, NC. I have extensive knowledge of animals such as keeping things sanitary and following strict schedules, diets and plans to fit the animals needs. I am currently available any day and am only accepting drop in visits and bathing at this time. I am new to Rover so I am looking for my first bookings. I can provide references of animals I have cared for previously. I can stick to a strict diet plan and bathe if needed. I will keep your home tidy during the visits and follow any instructions that are left with me.

About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard or inside for 4-5 hours per day. Although we love all pets, please don’t book with us if your animal needs constant supervision. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive or prey-driven dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have been involved in animal rescue for the past 10 years. I currently foster with Mountain Pet Rescue and the Asheville Humane Society, and I’ve cared for animals with all kinds of personalities, backgrounds, and needs. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medications. Rescue work has taught me how to be patient with animals who are shy, anxious, energetic, or just need a little extra time and attention. More than anything, I genuinely love being around animals and really enjoy caring for them. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like the little prince or princess they are...with lots of love, attention, cuddles, playtime, and care tailored to what makes them happiest. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved and cared for while you’re away. I work remotely from home, so I’m around throughout the day and have a lot of flexibility to give pets the attention they need. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and plenty of company throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and I can easily adjust to their normal routine as much as possible. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, boundaries, feeding schedule, medications, and any quirks or triggers before caring for them. In my home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and a calm environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I never force interactions and am very comfortable giving shy or nervous animals the space they need to feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible and make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, and medications are handled carefully. My years in rescue have made me especially attentive to body language and changes in behavior, so I’m always keeping an eye on how your pet is feeling. And of course, I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your furbaby is safe, happy, and getting lots of love.
