“I hadn't left Chloe with anyone for over three years, so finding a dog sitter was a big event in our life. She and I spend every day, all day together, so I was like a mama dropping her child for their first day of kindergarten. But Chloe had such a positive meet and greet, she couldn't wait to return! During our initial meeting, Rayana let Chloe thoroughly explore her house, which thrilled her as she's part hound dog and her nose demands she smell every crack and crevice. When Rayana invited her up on the sofa and gave her a pillow, Chloe looked at me like, omg, are you seeing this?! Nobody lets me up on their couch but you, mom! The cherry on top was when Rayana proceeded to give her lots of hugs and kisses and praise. We had a wonderful chat, after which Chloe discovered the doggie door and the yard, and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to get her to leave! When we returned for doggy daycare I was feeling emotional and worried I might start blubbering, but within a minute of arriving, Chloe was so excited to be there that I couldn't get her attention to tell her I was leaving! About: I’ve have taken care of animals for about 15 years. Mainly dogs and cats. We currently have a chocolate lab named Bandit that would love someone to play with. We have a pool with a dock for easy ins and outs. We have a .5 acre fenced in back yard. I stay at home with our chocolate lab named Bandit. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard or inside for 4-5 hours per day. Although we love all pets, please don’t book with us if your animal needs constant supervision. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive or prey-driven dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

We know the value of having someone watch your dog while you go explore, take a trip, or just wanting your pup to have some super zoomie time with another dog. We live in the Haw Creek neighborhood (near the Masters Park trailhead). Our property is set up for dogs to able to play and roam in the fenced in yard. Since we do have a young child in the house - dogs must be friendly with children. We do take our own precautions and never let her play with them during mealtimes. We have flexible schedules so your pup won’t be home alone more than 4 hours at a time max. Our property is a great one for dogs to explore safely. Our 1 acre yard is fenced with a driveway gate that stays closed. Let us know if you have an escape artist though! Very small dogs could fit through some parts of the fence.

About: Hi, I am a compassionate and dependable recent retiree. My two senior dogs passed away in the past 6 months and I am without any fur-babies for the first time in decades. I am honored to spend quality time with your loved one so you can have a worry-free vacation and I can have some doggy/kitty time! I am newly retired and have plenty of free time. I do have some community activities but I spend most of my time working on projects at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am a very active senior and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, my husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.
