I am home almost all day and every day. Dog sitting is one of my greatest joys, and I've decided to do it full time. If I step out to run errands, I do have a camera to keep an eye on your dog while I’m out.

Our home is usually quiet and peaceful. When the weather is warm enough, we like to leave the screen windows open so that we can get some fresh air and listen to the birds. We also have a bird feeder on our patio, and most dogs enjoy watching the birds come and go. If your dog is anxious, I like to play music that is designed to help them stay relaxed. If your dog enjoys watching TV, I also like to play "dog TV" for them. Light-up collars are provided for your dogs to wear at night so we can see them easily. Your dog will only be fed the food/treats that they are sent with. Dogs can have sensitive stomaches and diets just like people, and I make sure they stick to the diet that your dog is on. I also keep a close eye on everyone during meal times. "Food aggressive" dogs are fed in a closed off room to ensure the safety of other dogs.

**PLEASE READ this section before booking or scheduling a meet and greet** Questions: 1. What kind of exercise does your dog need and enjoy most? 2. What is your dog's leash behavior like? 3. Does your dog have regular bowel movements? 4. Does your dog like to chew apart toys? 5. Does your dog have any allergies? 6. Are there any medications or specific feeding instructions for your dog? 7. Are there any unique characteristics about your dog that we should be aware of? Important to Know: 1. There is a possibility that I may have other dogs from other homes during your dog’s stay, if this is a concern, please let me know. I would never pair dogs together unless I’m confident that they would get along. 2. We have two dogs beds that we are happy to let your dog use. 3. We do have a crate, but will only be used upon your request. (22 x 22 x 36) 4. None of our floors are carpeted, please let me know if your dog is prone to slipping--I will be sure to lay extra rugs down for them! 5. Please provide your dog with a few extra days of food in case there is an emergency and you are unable to get back to your dog at your scheduled date. 6. Please provide up to date shot records and vet information for your dog. 7. A written or typed list of instructions for your dog are recommended, but not necessary. ~I kindly ask that you consider that I do not get paid for meet and greets and they do take time as well.~ ~Please only schedule a meet and greet with me if I am your top candidate for sitting your dog.~ If you have any questions, feel free to message me here on Rover! Your dog will always be under responsible supervision. I am home almost all day, but I do have cameras so I can keep an eye on your pup while I step out to run errands. Your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise during their stay. If your dog prefers to relax and take it easy, I’m happy to give them plenty of cuddles!

Huge Fenced Yard near AVL ✈️

Located just a five minute drive from Asheville airport ✈️ I love dogs, and have the greatest intent to provide them with all of the friendship and care that they need. We have two separately fenced in yards on a half acre of land that are perfect for dogs to roam, run, and relax in. The large backyard is perfect for active dogs, while our smaller front yard is designated for our smallest and most delicate dogs. Our front patio is also fenced in, which helps ensure that dogs cannot easily escape from our property. My husband, Mark, has also had pets for most of his life, and enjoys helping me with your pups whenever he is at home with us! We are a synthetic-fragrance-free, smoke free, herbicide and pesticide free home! We aim for a low-toxin life for ourselves and our furry friends! **I do not offer house sitting** **I do not offer rides to and from the airport!** **I am no longer accepting dogs over 40lbs** I do have a dog of my own, Bruce the mini schnauzer, who socializes well with other dogs. He is getting older, and I cannot guarantee that he will play with your dog. He is always kind; although, he does not appreciate dogs that jump up in his face or sniff certain areas of his body for too long. Bruce also loves to bark when he meets new people! We are a very active family and love to get the dogs outside for play time! That being said, we also love dogs who enjoy chilling out and curling up on the sofa together. Whatever kind of activity suits your dog best, we can match their energy and make sure they have the best stay! :)

Kalynn and Mark are amazing. They are super intuitive with the dogs and you can tell they really care about taking care of your pup. I do get worried about my baby, but Kalynn was great with the texts and pictures and constant update to help me not worry. I am definitely a repeat customer.
