My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

“We had a great experience using Katie and Jeremy to watch our dog. It was obvious that they love animals. They were kind and flexible and so easy to work with. This was our first time leaving our young dog and so we were a bit anxious. As a pup our dog has a lot of energy but he also has some medical conditions involving his back legs/knees which will be corrected this summer with surgery. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. They have a lovely property with a fenced in yard and a back porch - our dog was in dogggie- heaven. We were actually a bit worried he wouldn’t want to come home!! LOL! About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. In addition to dog sitting for many friends and family members over the years, I've also taken care of cats, horses, goats, and even iguanas! I can't wait to provide extra love, play time, and affection for your fur baby, too! I work from home and we have one dog and a cat. I closely supervise any dogs that are our guests here and can provide potty breaks as frequently as needed. Any pets staying with us are supervised inside and out. Our yard is large and fenced in, so it's a great place for play sessions. For drop in visits, I customize it to the owner's wishes and dog's needs.

She and I spend every day, all day together, so I was like a mama dropping her child for their first day of kindergarten. But Chloe had such a positive meet and greet, she couldn't wait to return! About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. I have a huge love for all animals and believe all of them deserve love and care just like humans! I’m also here because my lovely fiancé and I just got engaged this past summer. I’m hoping to save up and earn as much money as I can to help host our dream wedding here in the mountains next year! Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.
About: As a child I was always the person that was bringing home the lost and injured animals I came across. Not much has changed as an adult. I worked with a pet rescue for over a decade, unfortunately the rescue was dissolved but my love for animals has not faded. I have experience with many different species of pets, ranging in age from newborn and needing to be fed every 2 hours to senior animals that need extra care and patience. I am experienced in giving medicine, and providing all the love and attention your fur babies deserve. I am currently in a career transition and taking classes part time at a local college so I will have plenty of time to care for your pets and make sure they have as much love as possible. I am very diligent in making sure all of your requests are followed to the letter. I personally have a dog that needs wiped after she potties to prevent UTIs and it is a deal breaking for me when I can tell a sitter has not followed my instructions. I understand that routine is important and strive to be a few minutes early for every appointment. I also understand that someone other than yourself caring for your beloved furbaby can be stressful for both you and them. I strive to ease as much of that stress for both parents and furchildren as possible. As a pet parent myself who also uses a sitter when I have to be away for any length of time, having that trusted sitter is life saving.

About: I’ve been around animals for my whole life I’ve worked on a farm so I’m experienced with most animals I have toys, dog beds, cat towers treat and also furry friends at my home to play with or I can separate them all completely if your pup or cat might not do good with others. “I cannot recommend Kali for you enough! SHE IS A GEM! My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

“We had a great experience using Katie and Jeremy to watch our dog. It was obvious that they love animals. They were kind and flexible and so easy to work with. This was our first time leaving our young dog and so we were a bit anxious. As a pup our dog has a lot of energy but he also has some medical conditions involving his back legs/knees which will be corrected this summer with surgery. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. They have a lovely property with a fenced in yard and a back porch - our dog was in dogggie- heaven. We were actually a bit worried he wouldn’t want to come home!! LOL! About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.

“David and April - and their dog Joe - were the perfect hosts for my dog Winnie! We had a "meet and greet" a couple of weeks before her boarding, and I immediately felt at ease. I got pictures and a short report every day which eased any concerns I might have had (I really didn't have any after the meet and greet). Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust. I am very thankful I have been able to find someone who I feel so comfortable with - and will look forward to my next trip knowing Winnie will be very well cared for.”
