I grew up riding horses and spending most of my free time at the barn, where I eventually started working and gained years of experience with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve house-sat countless times for my former trainer, taking care of her four Dobermans, along with other pets and farm animals. When she began breeding Dobermans, I was hands-on in raising several litters, giving me extensive puppy care experience. This past summer I was the head caretaker and instructor for five Golden Doodle puppies at a girls’ summer camp. I managed their feeding schedules, socialization, crate training, and daily care. I also have a strong foundation in animal health and behavior from both school and hands-on work in animal-focused environments. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to older dogs who just want some gentle company. I’m confident, reliable, and genuinely love being around dogs. I’d be honored to care for yours like they’re my own!

Ralyn was prompt and very friendly. She was great with Lincoln right away. She kept us informed throughout the booking and kept Lincoln happy with a walk and then some rest. Would definitely recommend!
Ralyn was an absolutely perfect dog sitter. I didn't have any worries at all while I was away. She took extra care of my senior pup and made sure to check in with me three times a day to let me know how he was doing. When I got home, she had a personal drawing of my dog sitting on the counter. The house was spotless and she even washed the towels she used .I couldn’t recommend her enough. Can’t wait to continue to use her in the future!
Ray is such a sweet and kind hearted person! I spent the summer working with her at a summer camp raising mini golden doodles and teaching kids of all ages how to care for them and train them. She loves animals and gives them nothing short of the best of care!

Schedule
I attend Warren Wilson College, which is a work college meaning I work 12 hours a week on campus in addition to my classes. Despite that, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to consistently prioritize pet care. My mornings are free until 10am, and my evenings open up after 6pm throughout the week. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday, and I can board or house-sit over the weekends (Friday–Sunday). Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and animal care, I’m reliable and great at time management. I truly enjoy building pet care into my routine- it’s something I look forward to! I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs as much as possible.

My approach to pet care always depends on what makes your animal feel safest and most comfortable. For cats, I follow their lead- whether that means quiet companionship, lots of play, or giving them space. I’m happy to stick to any routine they’re used to, and I’ll make sure they feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for in your home. With dogs, I’m naturally very active and love spending time outdoors. There’s a beautiful creek and plenty of trails near my school, and- if you’re comfortable with it- I’d love to take your pup out for some light adventuring and enrichment! I’m also totally happy to stick to their normal walking route and routine if that’s what they’re used to. I’m attentive, always respectful of your preferences, and always focused on keeping your pet safe, happy, and well loved.

I absolutely love hiking and exploring! Rest assured your pup will get an engaging walk, there’s countless places to explore around my own campus & I love to see new spots!
