Alema was incredible! We really appreciated all the questions she asked about our kittens prior to watching them. She genuinely cares about the pets she is caring for while you are gone. Ash and Ember were well cared for in our absence. We highly recommend Alema.
Absolutely outstanding. Can't recommend Kate highly enough. She takes kitty care to a whole new level. We felt lucky to have Kate take care of our cat. She thinks of everything, lots of toys, fun videos and plenty of pictures. You just don't worry at all about your pet. I came home to a really happy cat.
Jane was amazing with our cats! She was so communicative and went above and beyond to make sure they stayed warm during the below freezing temps while we were out of town. She was very sweet with the cats and made sure to give each of them attention. We will absolutely be using her again!!
We’re so lucky to have found Willa. She's someone you just *know* you can trust when you meet them. She took the time to meet our extremely shy cat on his level and care for him in all the ways you could only hope for. Attentive, kind, knowledgeable and above all else - caring. She was responsive from the moment I sent the inquiry and communicated with us during our whole trip (sending lots of updates and pictures). This was my first time using Rover and a friend recommended Shay to me to look after my two senior kitties. Let me just say that my orange tabby NEVER comes out for anyone but he came out for Shay. She is some sort of magical cat whisperer I swear. She also sent me some of the best photos and videos! Communication was very clear and my babies were so well taken care of. I get so nervous leaving them but it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing Shay was taking great care of them. I will definitely be booking with her in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
